Haslem in the past HAS been offered for Bibby though, I know that for fact. Petrie didn't bite on the deal though.

Haslem is overrated by Heat fans, but they will admit to it.

"Hes more valuable to us than he would be to you"

"He's the perfect fit next to Shaq at PF"

"Expect to overpay, we like Haslem, and dont want to deal him"

Just a few responses I'd expect regarding Haslem. They KNOW hes overrated by them, and they are FINE with keeping their overrated player.

He brings intangibles, and is at the moment, the heats 3rd most valuable trade piece, you expect them to deal him for an HEALTHY Mike Bibby!?!

Fixed :D

(He going to comeback Wednesday HEALTHY against the Raptors)

Some of you guys are just snake oil salesmen. Clearly trying to inflate the value of the player you are trying to trade.

Ok, and this is EXACTLY the conundrum I said we'd be in.

If you remember kingsfan10, (I think it was with you) I said that a Bibby deal with MIA was inconceivable, because by the time Bibby got healthy and played well, the Heats season could be done.

Hate to say I told you so, but............... :-? :P

Oh here we go again. An unknown source from someone somewhere on another board says they know something and you take it as gospel truth. Bull. Send me a recording of either Pat Riley or Randy Pfund on the phone with Petrie or the Maloofs and then we can talk. Otherwise, it's a load of steaming cow pies.

We are not dealing Haslem for Bibby. Accept it. Move on...

Hmm, this somewhat a similar analogy from rjgraca's old car saleman statement

I really don't see Bibby as someone we pursue anymore. He's on a large contract, and he would cost more than we ought to pay. He also wouldn't be enough to push us over the top. We need a high draft pick and caprelief, not Bibby IMO.

I've never seen that one, but I was torn between using it and the snakeoile salesmen comment. 6 of one half a dozen of the other.

Really? He uses it almost exclusively against Kings posters time to time :)
