OT: DA BEARS NEED... ME?

Post#1 » by GRADEN » Tue Jan 15, 2008 2:34 am

The thought of the Bulls right now is a very depressing one ladies and gents :(. My impulse purchase of Blackhawks season tix was one of the better ones i've ever made and I love watching the ice. Never-the-less this is a Bears town first and always and thus my mind starts turning after seeing all the early entry postings on SC. Let's have a good ol' Bears discussion!!!

That looks great Graden, i would be extremly happy with those aquisitions. I liek that draft idea a lot, i think we need a ton of help on the O line and could use a rookie quarterback from a mid round like Krenzel from ohio State (ok he wasnt great but he was used when injured and did a legit job.)

Like the idea of letting Alex Brown go but a little hesitant to do that. Letting Mark Anderson take over the reigns for good is a little premature as of right now.

Also, i think Derek Anderson said he was going back to the Browns a week or two ago and they already named him their starting QB. So that idea isn't really going to work.

Also, what happened to the idea of trading for McNabb?

That was a big possibility last offseason, i mean I heard a lot of rumors about that. Anyway we could trade Briggs and/or Alex Brown for him?

I would like to look into that.

If not that then stay the course getting a mid round QB and giving Orton/Greise their shots in the first few games, but see how well the rookie QB is doing in preseason.

Great post, but all bears posts belong on the Bears forum. I would move the post there and leave the shadow here, but we can't move to the football forums from the basketball forums (or vice versa).
