I've suddenly lost all of the respect I previously had for Canadians.

Oh, wait...

Hope my son doesn't get a look at the burning scolded chef. No explaining that one.

Well then, stop.

That thing annoys the **** out of me.

Now you didn't just rag on national treasure Betty White, did you?

Along those same lines, have you seen Sally Field's commerical for some pill or another? C'mon -- you're freakin Sally Field! You've got Oscars and we like you .. we really like you! Just how big does your Macy's bill have to be for you to come and shill on in a tv commercial?

If it hasn't been voted on (I read the first 3 pages), then I vote for the entire UPS Whiteboard campaign.

First off--the guy is so smug I want to smack him. Secondly, there is nothing clever in this commercial at all. It's a smug guy drawing on a whiteboard and it's all packaged so smugly that I'm meant to think it's smart but it isn't. It's just smug.

I also agree that the Giordano's commercial is bad, but it's almost so bad it's good.

Another contender is the "Viva Viagra" commercials. The ones with the middle aged guys jamming in the garage?

I mean really. . .do yo wnat to be like any one of those guys?

I dunno. I can see whiteboard being annoying, but there is something about those commercials that keep my attention.

I'd call them oddly effective.

That UPS guy is banging your girlfriend while sipping overpriced coffee and calling all the movies you like ignorant uncultured swine slop. He also said the Bulls are an awful team. Talk about a smug s-o-b... but he's so right.

I second the motion. Seriously, the concepts presented aren't so unprecedented or complex that you need visual aids to enrich your comprehension. I mean, look at the last sentence I just typed. I could have just said that those stick figures give no real insight. But I wanted to be more colorful and make more of a statement. Just like greasy-haired-Andy-Garcia-wannabe.

Hey Shrink! How is it going over there in Minny....Now that McHale has made HIS celts winners again does he seem to have a plan for his second team, the wolves?

I think MIN fans are remarkably content, now that the team has a direction. We're looking better financially, we're loaded with young talent and picks, and some of that has to stick. McCants is finally healthy, and Foye will be back soon. Al Jefferson is better than we even hoped. This season is all about ping pong balls, and evaluating which young players will have a future with the Wolves.
