Redd trade ideas

Post#1 » by TripleDouble » Tue Jan 15, 2008 5:31 pm

I posted a number of possible Redd trades in the trade board, I am wonder how you feel about your teams trade idea (they are supposed to be starting points not final deals). I tried to be fair, but obviously my opinion from Milwaukee may vary greatly from yours (as you will see I am not the biggest fan of Tyrus Thomas, Thabo, or Gordon and I appologize if this offends you guys, but I still did try to be fair - hopefully it is).

The topic is here:

I actually like the deal for the bulls even if it would leave us pretty thin up front. Nocioni is a nice player but he duplicates Deng. Smith is a short term solution here and Thabo needs a new environment to flourish. the sticking point is Tyrus Thomas. I still think he could be very good. not sure i would want to part with him.

If it was up to me i would exchange thabo and tyrus with ben gordon and adrian griffin, and call it a deal if the bucks include a top 5 protected 1strounder.

Yea, unless we are planning on Gordon, we don't need a big SG that is a big time scorer. We really just need someone to keep Duhon out of the lineup. We are giving up a lot of good assets for someone we don't need.
