Miami-Sac-Philly
Miami Trades: Jason Williams and Udonis Haslem
Miami Receives: Mike Bibby and Reggie Evans
Sacramento Trades: Mike Bibby and Ron Artest
Sacremento Receives: Andre Miller and Udonis Haslem
Philly Trades: Andre Miller and Reggie Evans
Philly Gets: Jason Williams and Ron Artest
Works under the cap and helps each team out.
Miami gets Bibby and a decent replacment for Udonis. Evans is a rugged rebounder that would fit in and not need the offensive touches.
Sacramento gets great value for Bibby and Artest (injured and probably won't re-sign after next season). Dre Miller is a perfect PG for Theus and can help Martin really excel. Miller's contract is smaller than Bibby's and is expiring next year. UD adds rebounding and toughness to Sac town.
Philly gets a nice expiring and a potential number 1 option to take the pressure off of Iggy. Artest is a top notch defender. His personal issues seem to have calmed down now and he could be a great player for the Sixers. He is an expiring next year (the same as Miller would have been) so they really don't have anything to lose.

This actually is not that bad. Of all the Bibby/Artest combo trades I've seen posted here, this one comes pretty close to fair value. We still wouldn't move either of them without dumping KT and getting a first, but it is a good starting point. The guys that Miami gets are actually EXACTLY what they need - a power rebounder and another solid scoring option.

Ultimately, I don't think any team does it in its current form, but it is intriguing. SAC and PHI both would prefer youth coming their way if they deal their vets, and MIA isn't prepared to accomodate either team, let alone both.
This deal, right now, is a bit bad for MIA and pretty bad for SAC, while too good for PHI. Can Miller net Artest? Certainly not. Can Evans net a serviceable expiring? Well, last time he was traded, it was for a 3-year deal, so....

Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.
