All I'm saying is the Knicks and the Lakers could be good trading partners.
Why?
Lakers need a big with low post game to help with the scoring load.
Knicks have 1 too many bigs and need to get rid of Randolph because he is a team cancer and is not working out with Curry. His value is low.
Odom for Randolph might be overpaying....
But I would do Kwame for Randolph because Knicks get a salary dump and Lakers get a project.
Phil and Kobe might be able to get through to Zach and turn him into a team player.
Am I crazy? Mods please don't lock this thread.

Fisher, remembered, “We weren’t sitting around waiting for something to happen to become one of the best teams in the league. We set out to become that.”

As a Lakers and Knicks fan, please dont trade Randolph over here, I know that we need a big but he will mess up the flow of everything, plays no D, have a bad attitude, a cancer, etc.
Even though Odom have been inconsistant this year I would rather have him than Randolph. But on the other side we do need a big and we already have Ariza and Lukey playing the 3...

I see that you posted this on the New York board as well.
Actually last night I thought about this as well, as I watched Kwame not contest one shot, and miss a dunk. I am so tired of Kwame. Personally I just don't think the Knicks would consider a deal of Randolph for Kwame. It makes no sense to them. The trade I thought of would be Kwame for Jerome James. I know people would probally laugh at that but lets think about it for a second. He is a legit 7'1 center. He would at least try to block shots. And, while he was playing in the west for Seatle a couple years back he was monstrous which landed him the contract with New York. Now the salaries don't match up so New York would need to add Fred Jones as cap filler.
But first before I would make any trade, I would sign Webber right away. I would want Webber to become somewhat familiar, just get a couple of plays down, with Triangle offense. And then in a couple of weeks I would trade Kwame for J. James & F. Jones. Then James can become familiar with the offense.
That is just my opinion. There were so many times last night that Kwame missed an assignment defensively or wouldn't get off of his feet to contest a shot. If we use him for the next eight weeks we will be hoping for a 7th or 8th seed in the playoffs.

that could be because he feels that he has 0% chance to win in NY. playing for a contender changes everything.

+1
Chemistry is severely underrated in basketball...along with salary cap flexibility.
If we want to pull the trigger on a JO or Gasol trade right now, I wouldn't be totally opposed because they can provide low post scoring right now and still be effective once Bynum comes back.
Randolph on the other hand just becomes a useless fat contract with no interior defense.
