2nd Round Playoff Matchup-Detroit or Boston?
Alright lets not get ahead of ourselves and say we are going to the second round. But if we get past the first round we gotta face one of these teams anyways. So who would you guys want in a playoff matchup Detroit or Boston? Honestly, I wouldn't want to vs. the Pistons in a 7 game playoff series their grit, defence, bench are too much for us. Their starting 5 at every postion is talented everyone contributes no offence to the Boston squad.

I disagree with the bolded part.
On topic though. With DETs bench and they starting 4/5 being playoff tested, I'd pick BOS and hope to get lucky.

We won't win against either team, but if I had to choose, I'd say Detroit (by a very very very slim margin). Boston's had our number this season, and Detroit fell to the Cleveland LeBrons last year.

Boston is unproven in the playoffs, has slowed down somewhat recently, and has struggled without Ray Allen... plus we played them close with our full team earlier this year...
whereas this Detroit team has been to at least the ECF for like the past 5 years.. and has had our number forever...
Its a no brainer... although we probably lose either way..

But IMO good defense can easily throw Garnett off.
KG is one player that's smart enough not to start forcing up garbage against good defense. He's very unselfish. And since they have 3 studs that are all tough for any defense to handle, he doesn't need to be that guy either.
Baring a major injury or two, I don't think the Raps can beat either of these teams in a 7 game series. In fact, I think we get beat pretty soundly by both. Our biggest goal needs to be making sure we finish in the top 6 and avoid these 2 monsters in the 1st round so we get a team that we can handle. Baby steps.
