:dontknow:

Dwight and Hedo have improved over last season. We finally got a superstar on this team to compliment Dwight. We supposedly upgraded the coaching position. Nelson went up two points in the NBA 2k franchise. The East is still a mediocre conference. I don't understand why we are only one game better than last season.

Umm lets see how they finished, you completely ignored the fact last year the Magic had about 3 months in the middle of the season that they resembled this years Miami Heat. Lets see how the 2nd half of the season goes.

improvement FTW

We finally got a superstar on this team to compliment Dwight.

No, we paid an "all-star like" player superstar money to compliment Dwight. We also had an all-star like player last year - Grant Hill.

Nelson went up two points in the NBA 2k franchise.

Nelson is awesome in NBA Live.

I didn't get last years edition, but he's sucked in previous years. I always traded him. The only trade I pulled in Live this year has been to acquire Harrington to put next to Dwight and shifted Hedo to the 2.

Get it done Otis!

We overacheived last year. If this years performance is at least partially "regular," then we'll end the year much better. I just hope we can manage .500 ball from here out.

People said our second half schedule would be a lot better than our first half, and we did pretty well in the first half, so I am cautiously optimistic that the Magic will get it back together for the rest of the season. We gotta start with Chicago tonight though.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

The Magic's opening schedule through 40 games is probably harder than any we've had for this franchise.

You might be right about that. The Magic have played 9 more road games than home games and are done with Western Conf road games exept for one and its still not quite half season.

Exactly, I'm actually pretty excited to see how we do the rest of the way. People can whine about Reshard and our home record, but we most likely improve at home and our road record as compared to last year should be vastly improved. If we do improve at home ( which I expect we will) we should be in pretty good shape. Not to mention our energy level should be good going into the playoffs. Due to the fact that our schedule down the stretch is pretty light.

Exactly.

Road record > Home record.

I prefer to stay on the road with the way they play at home.

This time last year is also when the Magic went on a 1-9 nose dive!

But we've been a great road team, so it's pretty much irrelevant.

Do you really expect the Magic to continue win like they have on the road? Thats probably not gonna happen. And do you expect the Magic to have a under .500 record at home the rest of the season? History would say otherwise. In the end, whats most likely to happen is that things even out. It has been an incredibly abnormal scehdule up to this point.
