He is not only 19 but also the best player on the Sonics-- and the best chance they have of winning games. He was college player of the year his freshman year for good reason. By next season he will be rebounding and passing much better. Right now he has no one to pass to. Drafting Jeff Green along with Durant was a bad move-- they should have drafted Yi or Brandan Wright.

Durant has lots of players to pass to -- offense isn't the Sonics problem -- defense is. Durant has Wally Szczerbiak, Kurt Thomas, Chris Wilcox, Nick Collison, Jeff Green, Delonte West, Luke Ridnour, Earl Watson and Damien Wilkins on his team. All of these guys are capable of making shots -- some are better than others, of course, but Durant is far from the only offensive option on that team. For instance, Szczerbiak averaged 19 PPG just 2 seaons ago, Thomas has averaged double figures 5 times in his NBA career, and both Wilcox and Collison have career FG% over 50% and are perfectly capacle of scoring in the post. They may not be stars, but these guys are all capable of scoring a decent amopunt of points on any given night.
