It seems that in your thread, Bucks fans are just as preoccupied as I assumed they would be about jettisoning bad contracts with their stars. When you do that, you are not going to get elite return n the form of prospects. I think the Bucks get a fresh start with my deal, and a fair amount of youth. if you prefer Cedric Simmons to Shannon Brown, I'm sure they could be swapped in the deal, since Ced would be swamped in a full veteran rotation in CLE.

You are correct that it is almost impossible to send out the bad contracts with Redd's (because of the amount of money involved). The only way to do that and get value for Redd would be two separate deals (CV and bad $, than trade Redd). So, I guess I agree with you.

Yes, but I think it would be difficult to package Charlie with a bad contract, because although he has upside, his stock isn't in tip-top shape right now.

But I do think a 4th team could be added to this deal, who would take Smith/Villanueva and send MIL a better player than either, if that's a route they wish to go. I just need to know WHO Milwaukee likes. What players? Can we at least assume that their positional needs, if/when they trade Redd, would roughly be:

1) sharpshooting SG ("in the mold of" Nick Young)
2) defensive SF ("" Luol Deng)
3) defensive backup C (""Desagana Diop)
4) combo guard ("" Luther Head)
5) complementary backup PF ("" Brandon Bass)
