Bench play IS the game IMO. If Portland can just keep the rest of the Boston's team contained I think they could eek out a win. If someone like Perkins, Posey or Baby has a strong game I think its over.

It should be an interesting game. Boston proved that they can lose against young, atheletic teams so it's important for the blazers to use their youth and atheleticism against the older stars on Boston. It's obviously going to be tough to defend PP, Allen, and KG but if they can contain them to mediocre games, I believe that our reserves will outhustle theirs. Paul Davis has had some nice games this year so the Blazers need to keep their eyes on him so that he doesn't torch us. It will be a tough game but I think we can hold our ground against them. I'm not going to predict the winner but it should be a thriller all night long.

er Paul Davis is the center from Mich-St that Wade puts a dunk on in his shoe add. Glen "Big Baby" Davis is the round mound from LSU that has had some good games for the C's

I picked this as a loss before the road trip started, but for some reason I have a feeling about this game. Even if Rondo plays, we know he's not 100%, and Allen is clearly playing hurt. I think the Blazers surprise some people and take the victory.

Bench play is their weakness, and our strength. Should be interesting.

I cant think of a game as big as this one in the
past 5 years for the Blazers, to me atleast.. .

I hope Nate pins up all the disrespect the Boston
media has been putting in the papers. From players
names being wrong or mispelled to the Blazers record
being wrong. Teams, or good teams shouldnt need any
type of motivation to win, but I hope the Blazers know
about what the Boston media did & make them pay by
defeating the Celtics on their own home court!!!!!!!!

Odd's Key for the Blazers to win this game.
*INTENSITY in every second of the game!!

Correct the East media by winning with a Blazers win!!

I always mix them up. Glen davis has been decent this season and while he's been inconsistent, it'll be a bad sign if he torches the Blazers tommorow.

I have this horrible feeling Pierce and KG are going to go off for a combined 75 plus and just destroy us. Expecting a trip-dub from KG.

Ugh, tough game. I hope the Blazers play out of their minds for this and we can somehow pull it off. Ray Allen worrys me in this one. Come to think of it Paul Pierce and Garnett worry me too. This game worrys me. :)

To get the win our youth and depth must come through. I have a sneaky feeling that our vets (Pryz, Jones, Blake) will be very big in this game though. Especially Joel. Did anyone notice Nate was playing Joel in the 4th Qtr @ NJ? I really thought Joel could have helped immensly against Toronto in the 4th and the OT's.

I just hope the Blazers win for the fact of the east media ignorance.

Yes I did, and check it out, a blow out win against NJ :P. Seriously though Joel helps so much that its stupid to not have him in in the 4th quarter, lets sure to god hope hes in the game a lot tomorrow. Lets steal this one from Boston and give them their first 3 game loosing streak 8).

on the good side of things- boston really isnt' a low post scoring team, KG is more of a jump shooter like wallace so I think aldridge will be able to do okay against him- he matches his quickness. If Ray Allen is cold blazers get the win.

Sucks that they have lost two in a row because the W won't get as much attention.. Anyways lets hope our shots fall and we don't let the big 3 get into a rythm.

I think we have a very good chance of winning this game.

Rondo will either be out or not at full speed. His speed is his game so he's pretty much worthless out there if he's not well. Gabe Pruitt will start at the point in his absence.

The Celtics aren't clicking right now and according to their board have a hard time with long, athletic as well as deep teams. Sounds like us.

If Roy is 100% I see us abusing Ray Allen and Gabe Pruitt and getting to the hoop at will.

good luck tonight i have enjoyed watching u guys so far this season. You are going o be AMAZING next yr when Oden returns, its almost scary.. This game worries me as teams like Charlotte and ATL are horrible matchups for us, so I think Portland will also be a struggle. The only thing that makes me feel "better" is that we lost two winnable games, one by dropping a 14 pt lead in the 4th and I think the guys will be focused and try to stop the bleeding. That said it wouldnt be a shocker if u guys came in and pulled out a win.. We will see :)
Regardless good luck the rest of the season, Roy is a star in the making, manI bet u the Twolves wish they had him to go with big Al right now

very important game. winning it would give the blazers a lot of confidence and motivation. it will also show the rest of the teams how good/bad the blazers can turn out to be.

i think the blazers have to preassure as much as they can kg, pierce and allen. the problem is i don't see favorable or close matchups at defense, maybe just vs. allen, but to stop kg aldridge and joel have to play their best.

and i agree that what players like frye, jones, jack and outlaw can do will very much determine the outcome of the game.

but also, roy and aldridge have to have a solid game, good shooting and defense.

i will venture myself and say the blazers win by 4.
