Fire Boylan

Post#1 » by Bull Shak » Wed Jan 16, 2008 12:58 am

He is doing a pathetic job as coach. He has lost the team. The inmates (Ben Wallace) are running the asylum.

He puts Gordon to the bench. It worked at first because Gordon had the greenlight, and would just work his magic. Now Gordon's greenlight has been stripped, he has put up something like a 13 point game and a 6 point game in the last two. We are back to Skiles ball...the only difference is Gordon is playing Skiles ball off the bench. So now we ignore Gordon forever and ever...then when we're down by 20+ in the second half (because we let the offensive idiots try to bail us out until we get too late in the game), we give it to Gordon, and everyone stands around with their fingers up their butt, standing still, expecting Gordon to score on triple teams every single time down the court.

This is pathetic, this season is a wash. Boylan, you aren't getting the headcoaching job, and the Bulls aren't making the playoffs.

Cool, then they could just let Ron Adams run the team for a few weeks.

There really isn't a reason not to tank at this point. If boylan can manage us a top 5 pick in the draft, maybe he gets a raise?

Hmmm.

EDIT: A top five pick does sound good.

I liked the deadly Duhon/Wallace pick and roll at the end of the half. NBA beware a pick and roll where you don't have to guard either player, muhahaha

Boylan thought about it for a long time. The fore-fathers of basketball designed a secret play that is absolutely unstoppable, and Boylan has carried on the legacy from his mentor Skiles. Deceive the defense with a poor shooter running the pick-and-roll, so that the defense is unsure whether it should contest the shooter or big man. The secret is that the big man is also incapable of making any form of shot.

This leaves the defense stunned and confused, so they guard the three players NOT involved in the play, leaving the open lane for the otherwise inept play-makers. The success rate of hitting an open shot play is an astounding 40%.

A top five does not sound good:

Top 10 picks by Paxson:

Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, Tyrus Thomas, Joakim Noah

Only Deng is a full time player in the NBA.

At first I liked Boylan because the team was playing so freely and happy now their back to dead and no passion. Gordon is back to playing medicore and gun shy. At first Gordon use to have the green light now he's back to playing the way he was when Skiles were here. I guess it's because BG lost those two overtime games for him, no more green light. I also hate the fact that he keeps playing Duhon and Wallace good minutes. Enough of them already.
