Nash/Hill: +243
Billups/Hamilton: +225
Rondo/Allen(!): +224

Davis/Ellis are +132

Those are not player +- numbers, they are the team +- when those players are on. Subtle but important difference. It means that if Nash and Hill have a better team than Davis/Ellis, they are going to get a higher rating.

Give Davis/Ellis Marion or Amare and lets see how it goes.

If Baron and Jax count as our backcourt (he does play the wing a lot), then I'd say Baron/Jax is our best backcourt combo (best overall in the league IMO) , though we really have a backcourt trio in Baron/Jax/Monta.

Jack probably plays more 4 than he plays 2 now (with Bukie as Monta's main backup).

Interesting to see this list and notice that NBA teams don't put much of an onus on making elite PG/SG combinations. Seems like they want one or the other and then a big man to be the franchise players.

Of course, we're a little different here in GS. ;)

My second choice, and maybe my first depending on what day you ask, isn't even on the list:

Dreck Misser + The Ladie's Man

oh man I met the real life Ladies Man. It was a riot. I'm not making this up. I had a comcast cable guy visit a few weeks back when I was getting League Pass on only one of the two cable cards in the tivo. He came out and was a nice guy. He looked a lot like the Ladie's Man character, but didn't act like it... at first. Then in one of his phone calls back to the comcast home base, he got a lady on the other end. <click> Immediately he goes into full Ladie's Man mode. It was fantastic (as we would say on "Perspectives"). I summoned the nerve to tell him about the skit after he was through, and he had never heard of it!!!! But he had the voice, the attitude, everything.

Thunder and Lightning win more games for their team than any other backcourt in the league...They do it with D league backups and a big hole at the 4 spot....#1 baby!!

I'm sorry, I refuse to take Monta OR Baron props from LF. He's a hater for both these guys.

But I love Monta, he's my favorite Warrior... and Baron is the best Warrior... but they're still not the best backcourt in the League.

One game doesn't mean much. Bulls s u c k. Warriors are supposed to beat them. Talk to me in another year... then I hope they are the best backcourt.

Dude what the hell is so good about Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili? They aint sh*t without Duncan. Tony Parker is lucky that all the defenders have to worry about Tim Duncan instead of just him. It takes pressure off of Parker to do everything himself for the whole season.

Good post cake.

Can't stand Ginobili, recognize the talent but hate the playa.

Parker is like what you said. he's a good player, but the benefit of playing with Duncan changes everything for them.
