DUMARS can IR players? That isn't the coach's decision? Interesting.

Yes its Dumars who puts players on and off the inactive list.

And I am fine with Stuckey playing, I don't mind him learning out there on the fly and would rather have him out there than Flip or Hunter right now....

Its just disappointing because he played great team ball and really worked his ass off out there and now he's not getting any play.

Honestly I'd rather see him backing up Prince than Hayes most nights.

I was going to say that Joey Graham did not play too horribly tonight.
Then he threw that alleyoop. To nobody. That bricked against the backboard.

Richard Hamilton scored a season-high 39 points as the Detroit Pistons rebounded from an embarrassing loss for a 103-89 victory over the Toronto Raptors Tuesday night.

Hamilton hit 16 of 22 shots in Detroit's first game since losing 89-65 to the last-place New York Knicks on Sunday.

Chauncey Billups added 20 points for Detroit and Antonio McDyess had nine points, 12 rebounds and a career-high seven steals.

Chris Bosh, who averaged 39 points in Toronto's last two games, was held to 16 by the team that passed on him for Darko Milicic in the 2003 draft.

The Pistons led by as many as 13 in the second quarter, but former Pistons guard Carlos Delfino scored 14 points, including a buzzer-beating layup, to cut the margin to 51-50 at the half.

Notes: Toronto added two points at the end of the third quarter when Tayshaun Prince was called for a foul as Jamario Moon threw up a desperation shot at the buzzer. Replays showed that Moon appeared to be behind the 3-point line, but the officials gave him two shots after looking at the replay. ... Hamilton was the first Pistons player to score 30 points since he scored 32 on Nov. 11 at Seattle, a span of 32 games. ... Delfino didn't score in the second half. ... Toronto coach Sam Mitchell picked up a technical for arguing a fourth-quarter call, but Hamilton missed the free throw.

Toronto didn't have anything left for the third, though. While the Raptors were missing 10 of their first 12 shots, Detroit was slicing up their defense on their way to a 75-57 lead late in the quarter.

The Raptors rallied again, finishing the quarter with a 8-2 run to get within 12.

Wallace, though, started the fourth with a three-point play that included a dunk over Rasho Nestorovic, and the Raptors were never able to seriously threaten.

It's comical that we're complaing about rookies playing over of another rook.
Stuckey has a lot more to soak in right now... if C.B. goes down he becomes the man... better get him comfortable sooner than later.

Hamilton scored a season-high 39 points and helped the Pistons rebound from an embarrassing loss with a 103-89 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night.

"Dice was huge in this game," Pistons coach Flip Saunders said. "He had a tough, tough matchup tonight -- Chris Bosh was out there playing great. Dice knew he had a challenge and he stepped up to the plate.

"I just tried to play him tough," McDyess said. "I forced him to go to his right side, and luckily he turned the ball over and I got the steals."

In the first half of Tuesday's game against Toronto, Rasheed Wallace saw that ex-Piston Carlos Delfino was guarding Richard Hamilton."You know 'los can't guard you!" Wallace told him. As it turned out, Delfino wasn't alone.

Hamilton torched the entire Raptors squad for a season-high 39 points in Detroit's 103-89 win. The 39 points were the most scored this season by a Pistons player."He was great tonight," Pistons guard Flip Saunders said. "He moved well without the ball. You could see he had a little more pop in his step, and he made good decisions."

Hamilton, who made a career-high five 3-pointers on Tuesday, was coming off one of his worst shooting performances as a Piston, scoring just three points and shooting 1-for-7 at New York on Sunday. "I got a lot of wide open looks, but didn't take a lot of shots in New York," said Hamilton, who passed Bailey Howell for No. 9 on Detroit's all-time scorer's list. "Tonight, I just said, 'They're going to fall.'" Pistons point guard Chauncey Billups said he wasn't surprised at Hamilton's offensive outburst. "He's been struggling the last couple games shooting," Billups said. "He got it cooking. That was a real easy 39 for him tonight. He was on fire."

Stuckey better improve with his minutes because Hunter is going to be on the playoff roster for sure, and very possibly taking the backup PG minutes.
