Picking it up..

Post#1 » by Adde91202 » Tue Jan 15, 2008 10:59 pm

I see the Spurs slowly picking it up, we should go on a nice 8-1, if not 9-0 run during our next few games..

Go Spurs!

I haven't seen many signs of us picking it up. We've managed to get some unconvincing wins agaisnt poor competition in the last few games and are offense is pathetic. Right now the spurs can't seem to play offense and defense in the same game.

Our D has definitely improved. Our O is sucking a big fat you know what right now. Hopefully that spurt at the end of the game against Philly continues on with Manu. He really needed that for his confidence. Parker is another story.

Well...until Pop gets thrown out of a game I don't see us picking it up.

All is fine... No matter what everyone says or thinks, the team is willingly coasting to avoid any more Duncan/Ginobili/Barry type injuries that would cause us to enter the playoffs either shorthanded or lacking in team chemistry. Our season begins in March, as always.

I agree. If things are iffy in March, I'll be worried.

Offensively, i just think we need to get to the paint more. whether that's more touches for duncan or Parker and Gino penetrating more. Duncan is still not getting enough touches offensively IMO. I understand Parker is not 100% and that's why he's not as explosive. Manu thou seems to start falling in love with the 3 point shot.

Interesting to look back from 2016 and see how fans thought.
