Adelman on Yao's unfair treatment from refs
"A superstar is supposed to get calls and he doesn't get the calls," Adelman said. "Simple as that."
"Adelman contends that Yao was fouled while having the ball stripped from his hands -- an issue that Yao's coaches have complained about since he began playing in the NBA in 2002."
This was from a postgame interview after the Hornets loss. Looks like it's started already, Adelman's gonna lose all his hair with the way Yao gets reffed by the end of this tenure here. Look what happened to JVG.

Yao needs to get a Tech for Dissent, if there are Ref's that are particularly bad, then he needs to give it to them all night long, ie "What, I get mugged down our end and you call that **** up here, your whistle is turning brown, cause it is shoved to far up your arse!" etc cop a T or maybe even get disqualified, then let it rip in a post game press conference. "My arse is sore from Dick Bavetta **** me all night, the dirty old man!!!!" Cop a huge fine, then come out and apologise a few nights later, "So sorry, I am frustrated out there seeing others get calls I don't." it will make a difference, especially as he is so careful not to criticise.

Yao absolutely needs to get ejected for the next 3 game for some respect from the refs.
since we dont stand a chance to win anyway, with our weak finish.

Yao holds a power over the NBA thats been unmatched by anyone...not even Jordan. He is the key to a global NBA rush. Look it might not be right...but if I were Yao I would meet with Mr Stern and just remind him how important I was. Remind him that all I have to do is say I am going back to China b/c the NBA is a corrupt league that can't officiate people fairly and his dream of a global game will be over.
Yao could squash all this unfair treatment. Stern has bent rules for Jordan and all the great marketing tools that have come through his league. Yao just needs to go meet with him and remind him of his importance to the league.

That's a great idea, but I doubt Yao would have the balls to do something like that. The guy's a competitor and won't complain about things off the court.

I'd hate to admit it, but this is where having a whiny-ass owner (*cough* Mark Cuban) would come in handy. JVG tried, but went down the wrong avenue by making sh*t up and attacking the entire league and its integrity.

This is true but how come Yao lacks the balls to do it? If any other player in the NBA had this same power Yao does they would have done it long ago. Yao needs to grow a sack and tell Stern he knows that he is the #1 cash cow and needs to be treated accordingly, but he seemingly refuses to do so..........

And it is frustrating to see blatant travels in front of referees let go. watching the last lot of "Top ten plays of the week" three of them were blatant travels, that looked good, so they were let go. The NBA is hellbent on reducing the size of players in it. They tried to stop Shaq, and filed, now they are trying to stop Yao the same way. Shaq would be sent to the line, coz the ref's knew he'd probably miss, whereas yao is a threat from the charity line.
He really needs to publicly criticize the ref's and maybe something will happen.

Well Yao just wants to be like everybody else, so no he's not going to put up an arrogant conotation of being the "cash cow" as everybody would suggest. Instead he's should be like look at the tape, that's a foul, that's a miss call and etc, not put himself on a pedestal and use that as an argument? Who would do such a thing? Jordan would never say, look I'm the NBA, but Jordan got the calls the right way.

Nope. If he continues to do this as he has done he should shut his trap up. Because if he refuses to do anything about it other than complain then he is just being a whiny complainer who lacks the self discipline and respect required to solve the problem. He either needs to solve the problem or just accept it as it is if he will continue to refuse to solve it - but then if that's the case why is he bitching and moaning about it all the time?
