Could Bulls situation benefit Raps?
While I understand that creating topics as of late that have to do with any players and trades have normally ended poorly, I figured this was interesting enough that I would very curious to get the forums opinion on it.
Its seems that there is a pretty bad locker room situation brewing in Chicago which hit a new level last night when according to the newswire Ben Wallace and Joakim Noah had a war of words in the locker room that was so heated it needed to be broken up by Luol Deng.

I would imagine if BC was looking to make a deal it would be with a team looking to fix problems and the Bulls may lead the league in that category, if this continues it may not be an option to have Wallace and Noah in the same locker room.
With that said Wallace

Isn't Joe Smith on that team too? He'd look nice here.
Noah is a tool. Wallace is an albatross of a contract, but the Smitch might be a guy he could relate too, but he's a head case with a bad contract.
As odd as it may be, Noah really was the guy who peaked my interest.
I look at a team like the Mav's who have the means to play you big or play you small, and since Rasho is not really part of the future of a guy like Noah could be had who I believe has more of a defensive game then Bargs, it may offer us some flexibility up front, as well as stick with the youth plan?

Don't expect the Bulls to trade any of the young players this season. Pax mentioned in an interview that he's letting Boylan to give the vets a chance to right the ship and see if the bulls can still make to the playoffs. If not expect the young players to get 30 minutes a game. And so far nothing has really changed, the team is still looking like a lottery team.
The only players that I think you can get from the bulls is Noc and Joe Smith plus Ben Wallace for free.

Does it make me a horrible Raps fan for even entertaining Wallace and his 8.9 rebounds and roughly 2 blocks a game? Even with that horrid contract?

When I saw the wiretap I was thinking sorta the same thing that maybe the Bulls a set to be had, but I think it could come down to the same situation as the Arenas discussion the other day where the Bulls were supposed to be on the verge of contention and therefore IMO will not want to completely blow it up unless they can get equal value in return. So from their stand point and ours, neither will want to help the other retool with young talent ... for us to get a player like Deng, it would cost at the least Bargnani and one of our PG's probably Jose and it could be to steep of a price to pay if either blows up because it's a team that we'll be fighting with for years to come ... if anything were to happen with the Bulls but I doubt it will i'd like to get Deng and Gray with Duhon (if we give up a PG) ... but like i said I don't like stocking Eastern Conference rivals with young talent and I'm sure they'd feel the same

I don't want any part of Wallace. The grass always seems greener on the other side, because he has decent defense, and rebounding. But it's gotten a lot worse and he is a huge offensive liabilty. There's a reason Bulls fans want to get rid of him. 15m for a few years is a major burden on a team that's still growing and not making a run yet.
I like some of their peices. I'm not sure how much Dengs jumpshooting would help a team that already has a ton of outside shooting. Not really interested in Hinrich or Gordon. Some of their Young guys like Noah, and Thomas are interesting though for the right price imo. Decent rebounders and defenders on good contracts with potential. I'de make a run at them.

No, I think that bum would fit well playing alongside Chris Bosh.
And also we need to free up more developmental minutes for the young bigs, so we kind of desperate to get rid of him.

Aaron Grey would be rather interesting? a young true center who showed some offense in college?
Although if they do opt for a build mode he may be the guy they really want to lock up for a while.

I doubt the Bulls make a trade with us. I doubt they make a trade with anyone at all. Paxson seems pretty delusional in his belief of the players over there.
I feel bad for Bulls fan having to endure Wallace. He sucks big time now.
Teams we should keep an eye on are the Clippers, Milwaukee & Memphis.
