Rondo is out tonight.

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo will miss tonight's game against Portland due to back and hamstring injuries. He will be listed as day-to-day.

It would be great if Pruitt would start tonight. Probably no chance for that to happen, so I will be happy with 10+ minutes of action...

Tony Allen will probably get the start again at point guard. Its probably for the best because we don't want to rush Rondo back.

Is Tony Allen pretty good at PG? I haven't seen him play at all this year..

If we play like we did in the last 4 games, we will lose this game. If we are halfway back to our normal form in this game, we should win it.

Tony would be the obvious choice, but it might be House:

Though Rivers has considered giving House his first start of the season tonight,

He is a great defender, but his decision making is real bad.

I've been looking forward to this game for a long time. I hope Portland wins, but if the Celtics don't have me pacing back and forth during the final quarter, then I'm going to be very disappointed with you guys. Image

Gonna be a good game. Portlands good, but if we play team basketball like we did earlier in the season, it shoulden't be all that close. We will see!!

I think the only way this game isn't close is if your Celts have an off night...Blazers are on a roll right now and are playing great team basketball..Good luck Celtic fans....

Danny's on The Big Show on 'EEI in the 4 o'clock hour, might get an indication who's starting at the point. If we're walking the ball up and running the shot clock down to 10 secs before initiating offense, look for another L.

I think we could lose this game. The importance of Rajon Rondo has really been amplified the last couple of games. Add in injured/struggling Ray Allen and you have a very beatable team. I hope we can pull it out. We just need to get healthy right now and hopefully we come out with the win.

Portland's a hell of a team. If Rondo is not playing brace yourself for a 3rd straight loss with Eddie leading the team at PG. Fingers crossed for a Pruitt discovery and/or a TA breakout.

I loved watching this team play in the first 25 games of the season. But the last few games were just terrible. No energy, no dynamic, no ball movement on offense, it is like watching a completely different team than at the start of the season.

I just want to enjoy watching this team again.

Hopefully we will see a lot of Pruitt tonight but with Rivers I doubt that happens.

If I were the Celtics GM, I would've traded for any decent veteran point guard. Even someone like Brevin Knight would help out your PG situation a lot. I don't think someone like that would be too hard to acquire.

If BOS plays their best ball it will be close and should win. If they don't then the celts will probably lose. GO CELTS!!!
