ENOUGH is **** ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :curse:
This season is official over for me - Now the only thing I want to see is CHANGES - Happen soon and I mean as soon as TODAY
Bench every **** vet and start the guys that really CAN play.
This is the lineup I want to see for the rest of the way.
Ben Gordon/JamesOn Curry
Thabo Sefolosha/Domitris Nichols
Luol Deng/Andres Nocioni
Tyrus Thomas/Smith/Nocioni
Aaron Gray/Joakim Noah
get rid of Duhon/Hinrich/Griffin/Khryapa/Wallace - I AM Done with these guys.
I would start BG at PG and I don't care if he averages 5+ TO per game - once he gets better - it will only help.
Thabo - we can all see when he knows his role and when he knows when he is going to play and if he can play through his mistakes - he has played well (looking back last year when he started agianst Pistons and Nets and Bulls won nicely against both and Thabo had double double in both games).
Deng - No need to explain.
Tyrus/Noah/Gray - Let's see how good they are when they get consistently 25+ minutes (if not more). I only see them better than the vets - the only thing is that they might turn it over a lot and foul more than vets but overall, they are NET POSITIVE - So I can live with all those other things.
Like I said, we are not going anywhere with the vets, why not use Young guys and see what we have in them.
In short - IT'S EVALUATION TIME!. See who we should keep and who we should let go.
Who is with me?
Well this idea would certainly allow the Bulls to get a high lottery pick, because you ain't winning games with those guys.
I understand the anger, and I want to develop the young guys, but your suggestion is just a little too far overboard for me.
My rotation has Hinrich, Gordon and Sefolosha in the backcourt (no Duhon, who I think should be traded ASAP). Even if Hinrich and Gordon get their usual 30+ MPG, without Duhon in the way there is still at least 20-25 MPG available for Thabo, who should be more effective alongside either Kirk or BG than he would be alongside C-Doo
Frontcourt should be either Deng, Thomas and Noah. Bring Smith off the bench, along with Nocioni and Gray (NO Wallace). I love Nocioni, and I like Smith but if the team can move one of them in a trade (ideally along with Duhon), then I say go for it. Deng should play 30+ MPG, Thomas and Noah each 20-25 MPG. That's enough time for the young guys to prove what they can do while still giving decent PT to Smith and Nocioni. (As for Wallace, since he's pretty much untradeable, just bench him or send him home (latter's better, as he wouldn't be a locker room distraction) )
That's 9 guys. No Wallace, no Duhon, no Griffin or Khryapa. This way they can develop the 3 main young guys (Thomas, Noah, Sefolosha) and give Gray some PT without sacrificing the team's ability to be more or less competitive. As for Curry and Nichols -- sorry, they have to wait their turn. Let's just concentrate on developing Tyrus, Joakim, Thabo and (to lesser extent) Aaron first, ok?
