Thus far Paxson has drafted better than he has traded (current crop TBD of course). It's just the pieces don't auto fit which is normal in drafting.
Paxson's trades have been mostly for cash for to get rid of people. People who are critizing not trading - I assume are okay with most of his previous trades?
What moves would Paxson have made, considering the Bulls were considered a contender for the east? Let's not get carried away with our 20/20 hindsight.
This thread kind of ties in to the other thread on worst signing. We have to watch and see what Paxson does with Wallace (if anything).
That's why I was surprised Doug considered the Wallace signing worse, when we are 1 1/2 years in a 4 year deal. Borrowing from this thread, I would suggest the story of the Wallace signing and contract, isn't done yet, we need to watch and see what happens.
Lastly, trades are not super easy to do in the NBA. There are limited players, not really a minor league, and a salary cap. Memphis got Rudy Gay for Shane Battier - trades like that are not super common.
