Philly sends Carney and Evans to G. State
G State send Mikeal Pitreus and P O'brien
Sixers cap cap relief and possible a big to play behind Sammy who has to be better then, who ever they have now, ...he's so bad i can not remember his name and Pitreus if he wanted to resign would be hlp off the bench
Warriors get a young athletic forward in Carney who can replace Pitreus and in an uptempo stlye would be a good fit and Evans is a great rebounder who off the bench would help with the defense

It's possible but the idea is to move Evans contract to free up cap space..I do not think that his contract is that bad, I believe that it is around the MLE in terms of value...but like you said he inly brings defense and rebounding....which I think is what Warriors need for when Beadrians (sp) get into foul trouble...

Evans would be nice on the Dubs as a 10-15 mpg kind of guy, but definitely not at that price, and definitely no twhen you consider how much of a financial crunch that the Warriors will have next year.
I was just kind of curious about a swap, because back in the 2006 draft I wanted the Warriors to take either Carney or Brewer instead of O'Bryant. Given that Nellie absolutely refuses to play POB, I was wondering if it was possible to trade him for someone who'd actually play, and has had similar trouble adjusting to the NBA (though Carney obviously has more value than POB).

Hey Philly Family, a hypothetical question. If the Warriors had picked up POB's option, would you do a Carney for POB switch? Would you do a stright up swap of the two right now?
Question 1: Yes
Question 2: No
