Do you really expect the Magic to continue win like they have on the road? Thats probably not gonna happen. And do you expect the Magic to have a under .500 record at home the rest of the season? History would say otherwise. In the end, whats most likely to happen is that things even out. It has been an incredibly abnormal scehdule up to this point.

The Magic basically don't have another Western road game. So, the rest of the season is comparatively soft over the what has already been played.

I just noticed that Atlanta has played 33 games compared to our 39. How in the heck is that possible? This season scheduling has been insane, specially for the Magic.

I don't know about you guys... But After that that 1st west coast road trip.

we were 5-6 in the last 11 road games... So we haven't really been playing as good on the road lately.

Dwight and Hedo have improved over last season. We finally got a superstar on this team to compliment Dwight. We supposedly upgraded the coaching position. Nelson went up two points in the NBA 2k franchise. The East is still a mediocre conference. I don't understand why we are only one game better than last season.

How about 2 west coast trips.

How about 24 road games and 15 home games.

How about a trip to Texas.

How about an extended trip to China during the middle of exhibition season.

How about having played the most road games in addition to the most games in the NBA.

This has a lot to do with things being crummy right now. Not everything mind you, but definitely a factor.

Another major factor is that we overpaid Ra$hard Lewi$, and he's not being very professional.

A great article on wear the Magic stand:
NBA.com: MAGIC STILL STANDING

In your face, NBA schedule maker!

Despite heavy odds against us, the Orlando Magic have taken the schedule maker out to the wood shed and slapped him silly.

At the beginning of this season, I thought that if this Magic team could just hold its head above the .500 water mark, then the first half of the season would have to be considered a major success.

Mission accomplished.

Surprise, NBA schedule maker. The Orlando Magic sit atop the Southeast Division. They are 7 games up on the .500 mark. The Magic sport the third best record in the east. We've amounted 16 road wins, which is the most of any NBA club.

Now, if I were a conspiracy theorist, which I am not, then I would contend that the NBA had planned an early burial for us this season. To this point, no team has played more games than the Orlando Magic, and no team has played more road games.

Look at the numbers to this point: Orlando-24 roadies. The Magic's Southeast Divisional opponents? Washington-17...Atlanta-17...Charlotte-14...Dead in the water Miami-21.

This Magic team has had to endure 11 back-to-back scenarios so far, and they've passed with flying colors. They're 8-3 in the first....8-3 in the second.

The schedule has been beyond brutal. I am shocked the Magic have done so well.
"And with Dwight, he's Moses Malone at 22, Shaq at 22 and Tim Duncan.

well if you are going to factor that in, wouldnt that mean that orlando is actually going to get worse since they suck so bad at home ?

The reason they're so bad at home is because they go on 5 game road trips then come home for one home game then go back out again.

Once they get a string of home games with rest in between they'll be fine.

There's been a lot of ignorance on this board today, use your head people.
