Take on Ben Wallace to get Ben Gordon?

Gordon would be a great compliment to LeBron and Ben Wallace would provide some post defense.

Depends on the whole trade, what are we giving up? You'd most certainly be taking Hughes off our hands. Or its a no freaking way.

Your new lineup would be:
PG - Daniel Gibson
SG - Ben Gordon
SF- LeBron James
PF - Anderson Varejo
C - Ben Wallace

Ben Gordon would be a 3 month rental sinec there would be no way we would match what he wants in the offseason, and on top of that a Gibson/Gordon backcourt would be horrendous defensively. No thanks... Oh and Big Z will be a Cav until his contract is up, no doubts in my mind about that one.

I don't want either of them. Gordan doesn't play defense and Ben Wallace is washed up.

That would basically be the problem Jimmy. Sorry the language in those posts. Here's the reasoning.. Varejao and Wallace are inept offensive scorers and almost the same type of player. Gordon and Gibson are also the same kind of undersized scorers too. I just don't like that lineup. Not only that.. Lebron would be very upset with us ridding of Z and not getting a post scoring threat in return.

That deal really doesn't work for us. As someone else mentioned, Wallace and Varejao are too similar and the Cavs front court becomes incredibly bad offensively. And the Cavs would still not have a point guard.

I was actually just thinking about this...

Gordon, Wallace, JamesOn Curry
for
Snow, Marshall, Damon Jones

Obviously, we would hope to resign Gordon in the offseason, but we don't give up any youth or picks in this deal...

Gordon/Gibson/Curry
Hughes/Brown/Brown
James/Pavlovic/Newble
Wallace/Gooden/Simmons
Ilgauskas/Varejao/Jones

Like Crit but hate Kwame. Don't need big guys with hands that bad on this team.

^^True, Varejao can't be traded until the offseason since he signed his contract so late.

I really don't want Ben Wallace on this team. Larry Hughes would have to be included in the deal for it to even be a consideration. I like Ben Gordon but he could not start with Gibson. Doubtful Ferry would trade for a guy that is a free agent this summer..we've had enough issues with restricted free agents. Ferry will also have his hands full since Gibson will also be a rfa this summer.[/i]

I wouldn't want Gordon or Wallace regardless of who we give up. Wallace is not good anymore and has a terrible contract, and Gordon isn't that good.

Anyone else see BenWa jack up that triple in tonights Bulls/Warriors game? The announcers just started saying "No. No. No." as soon as he started pulling up. Sure enough it clanked off and wasnt even close, as if that wasnt bad enough they went on to say that he was now 0 for 3 on the season. It's been pretty obvious that he has been mailing it in with the Bulls. Remember when they signed him how freaking excited all the Bulls fans and national media were? Funny stuff.
