It's about to be on Blazer fans...Blazers vs. Celtics in less then an hour..It's great seeing all the press the Blazers are getting out East right now..Especially in New York and Boston they are rantin' and ravin' about Roy and on ESPN I've seen the Blazers at least 10 diffrerent times today..And think what it's going to be like next year with Oden out there.....

Guys, the chatroom went wonky last time, the only thing I can think that could have caused this was the host acting weird. It appears to be working better now. But we'll see... It may still be iffy... Still I encourage you guys to come. If it still fails to be functional, I've been investigating other hosts, so we'll see...

Tommy Heinsohn was just gushing over Roy. Said he was a legitimate MVP candidate, showed his hand-switch play against Toronto, and showed him blocking Adonal Foyle's shot.

I'd like to see that matchup in ultimate fighting. It wouldn't matter who won so much as that at least one of them would end up asleep ;-)

So far Portland has looked intimidated. But I'm extremely disappointed in Joel. I'm not sure what it is, but he's making dumb passes and he looks completely disinterested right now.

I guess McMillan and the coaches may have told him to stay out of foul trouble, but Joel needs to be more aggressive.

Aldridge is on FIRE! Hopefully he won't pick up #2

The officials have definitely been letting them play so far. There have been a bunch of pushes in the back on both ends of the floor, that Perkins block on Roy looked like a foul, KG got away with an up-and-down, just a lot of surprising non-calls so far. That's alright, let 'em play!

First thoughts--Blazers look really nervous out there, lots of sloppy turnovers. There's no way the game should even be tied, we should seriously be down by like 10, it feels that way anyway. Hopefully the players calm down, I'm sure they will :)

 If only it were possible.. Id pay for the pay-per-view

We've started off extremely sluggish so far minus Aldridge.. Stupid turnovers and lathargic defense... This isnt the Blazers that we've come to know.. They're starting to turn it around though so far.. tied up even with this awful start. Not all bad

Here is where we will see if Portland can get any separation. Portland's bench should be able outscore Boston, and hopefully that can buy Roy and Aldridge some extra rest.

Ugg, Travis certainly is nervous out there--not a good sign. This year he finally seemed to kick the "I can't believe I'm playing against so and so" attitude. Hopefully it's only temporary as none of these guys are new to him.

Low scoring affair thus far. Portland should be pretty happy considering as bad as they've played so far.

UGLY 1st Quarter ----

Boston Pace at this point.

I will say that i think since the Blazers have a off day in-between next game ( Bulls ) Roy and Aldridge should not be on the bench as much.

Boston is definitely a good defensive team. They're cutting off so much of what we're trying to do. Every pass is contested, they're closing out well, and they fight through screens.
