ESPN Would Start Featuring The Raps If ....

Post#1 » by Ted Predator » Thu Jan 17, 2008 12:39 am

One or these things must happen if the Raps would like to catch the attention of American TV NBA viewers.

1. If Bosh suddenly become a full pledged superstar NOT an occasional star . The game vs . the Pistons showed that CB4 is not really an NBA power.

2. If the whole team acquire a fearless and exciting basketball attitude. Look at the Warriors , no superstar but worth watching . Every sec to them is do or die not like the Raps team ...its we might die so better be careful !

3. If Jemario Moon shows them VC like dunks in the All Star. Not more dunk misses like right now.It will be embarrasing not to show something eomething in this contest so Moon better practice !

To be honest, I don't care what ESPN thinks of us or the rest of the United States. We can only worry about ourselves, not everyone else. The best thing we can do is stick it to them by winning despite them.

Sort of off topic here...

The Miami Heat shouldn't be allowed to be on anymore National telecast anymore. I know they make the schedule before the season and everyone loves Shaq and Wade, but the Heat is horrible. They just lost to Chicago at home by 30 points. The Bulls, the worst offense in the NBA, scored 126 points. When you looked at their record, there is no way they should be featured that many games on National TV.

Really? My girlfriends cousin who runs a network told me otherwise.. For the Raptors to get on ESPN, we're going to need more Maceo Baston.

Why the need for validation from an American network?

Personally, I could care less. However, I think it is an issue for American players in the NBA. They want their friends and family to be able to see them featured on ESPN.

You guys may not care .... but the players do care. ESPN means w i d e r exposure . More exposure translates to popularity worldwide.
Being a former player , popularity is sometimes more important than anything else.
Do you guys think Lebron will reach his target to be the 1st billion dollar sportstar if he rely on his pay alone even its the max for 20 years ?
