Trade Noah

Post#1 » by cvballa23 » Thu Jan 17, 2008 7:06 pm

I am not a Bulls fan, but just an outside observation.

Noah is not a good player... he may turn into a decent roll player but to me it is evident he will never be a great or even a good player. He also seems to be a bad locker room guy with all the trouble he has been causing lately.

Trade him NOW! This will instantly help chemistry I am sure. Also, his percieved value around most of the league is still relatively high (I dont know why), so dump him now for a late first rounder and an expiring. Surely you will get a better player in the 15-25 range in this years draft than you will with this scrub Noah!

Good luck!

Noah is one of thew last players that I would want to trade. Young talented C's are worth keeping around.

Besides, I'm not worried about any chemistry issues with Noah, I like the fact that he isn't afraid to get up in a veterans face and speak his mind, that is if it even happened, you get what I'm saying.

Scrub? How nice of you.

C that have like 3/8 left on their deals after this season who can stand, get a rebound and dunk the ball are valuable to any team. He stays.

Yeah sorry...

Not only are decent big men a rare commodity, its also only his first season, and anything can happen with a player in a year or two.

Plus, I think all that 'locker room trouble' has been overblown and its had too much put on it, although I do not think players should be handing out suspensions.

Come on people... you are obviously bias. He is an uncoirdinated energy guy. He will be no better than mark madsen.

I promise you this guy will peak at 8/5. He is shooting 44% for god sakes. That is horrible for a center.

Whatever you guys say... I know that there will be one player in the 15-20 range in this years draft that will have a FAR better career than Noah.

Its your funeral. My team plays in the west so I could care less either way.

Would you take Sean May and Adam Morrison for Joakim Noah?

How many Bulls games have you watched?

Noah is not a good player... he may turn into a decent roll player but to me it is evident he will never be a great or even a good player.

What makes it evident? The fact that he leads all rookies with an 18.05 PER? Or that he is a very good defender? Or that he is averaging 4.5 & 3.6 in only 12 mpg? (That equates to 14 & 11 per 40)

He also seems to be a bad locker room guy with all the trouble he has been causing lately.

Every beat writer who covers the team says differently. He is well-liked by his teammates and was chosen to lead the pre-game cheers (FWIW). He's not a cancer.

Trade him NOW! This will instantly help chemistry I am sure.

How? He's well liked and a good player.

Also, his percieved value around most of the league is still relatively high (I dont know why)

Because he is very good, and he plays C.

so dump him now for a late first rounder and an expiring.

Only if Pax is looking to get fired.

Surely you will get a better player in the 15-25 range in this years draft than you will with this scrub Noah.

Oh, so you're just a troll.

Sean May? Who's that? The overweight, undersized PF who had knee surgery? And it's not like we need another SF, particularly not one named Morrison.

I think we'll pass on that one. :)

Noah's gonna contribute in this league at one point, I just hope he's a Bull when he does it.

Jesus Christ man - look at his stats. He averages 4.5 & 3.6 in 13 minutes per game.

You think he won't ever average over 25mpg in his career?

That is your credibility going going gooonnneeee.

He's extremely skilled with the ball in his hands. He might not be a 20ppg scorer but he is an elite ballhandler for a center, as well as interior passer. He never looks uncoordinated when he gets it, or when the offense runs through him.

It seems to me that this guy, whoever he is, knows nothing about the Bulls, and I mean nothing. Bulls fans agree Noah shouldn't be parted with unless for something really good.

Regardless of the rest of your post, none of which I agree with, take a look at picks 15-25 for the past few years and tell me why you believe a player drafted in that part of the draft will surely be better than Noah and which ones will be good or great. More specifically, point out any PF or Cs who will be in the league more than a handful of years and who are remotely as good as Noah right now. I think you are overstating your case considerably.

Will he contribute in the league? Yes. Will he be a top 3 player on a contending team? Never. He may be a solid backup center, or a weak starting one.

Just cuz he played well against 6'8'' centers in college doesnt mean he has the skills to compete in this league with everyone else as tall as he is.

Andrew Bynum, Dwight Howard and Greg Oden will all be dominating Noah for the rest of his career.

I consider Noah the second least tradeable player on the entire roster, and a lot of Bulls fans would agree.
