The Cats are set at the 2 and 3 positions, plus they have two starter/ideal backups in Felton and Mohammad, and with the draft pick and May I expect we will have more bigs.

Wow way to much Calderon>Okafor let alone bargs to... I would counter with
Bargnani and Dixon for okafor.

If these are the best offers I'm seeing then we'll have to bite the bullet and sign him. Oh well.

from what I know, he is a specialist, not a star. A better scoring version of Ben Wallace? He will get paid a ton becasue someone will try to money whip him. Cha will be in the best shape to re-sign based on bird rights and avail cap space.

Lol were you expecting a package better then the ones that fetch Garnett or a iverson? haha, but 2 young players and a pick is the MAX you'll get

Does anyone know what kind of contract Emeka's expecting that he signs next?

I think most would agree that he won't/shouldn't get MAX dollars but I could see him getting something close to the neighborhood of Kevin Martin's contract (5yr/$55million)

I think this is pretty great value for Okafor: Joakim Noah, Thabo Sefolosha, 08 1st (top 5 protected) for Okafor and Sean May (tell me if you think May will play basketball again, so I can put Harrington here if you want).

I'd be willing to go as high as Noah and Tyrus for him.

What do you think?

I kill for Okafor...He is the exact PF/C that the Kings need....I WILLINGLY trade Martin for him (but knowing that J-Rich/Wallace plays SG/SF i.e. Martin's position) So, I trade basically anyone for him ala 08 Pick, Hawes, Artest, Bibby, Salmons and etc....

This is an offer that can certainly get the Bobcats' attention. Bulls' offer of Thomas + Noah + future 1st is probably the only one that can beat this

This sucks because as a Knick fan I would love to see Emeka Okafor in a Knick uniform but I know we don't what the Bobcats would want for him.

Okafor lost a lot of value by regressing this season. He is about to get big time overpaid.

Okafor is about 6 months for a near max contract despite regressing over the last year. He is a role player, not a star player. Giving up Kevin Martin for him is just bad.

IMO Okafor is still young and still a monster on D...He did end last season 20/13/2/3 statline for the last month IIRC....

and now that he isn't playing by himself on a bad team he is struggling to get 12 points a game.

He dont need to score if he is on the Kings....He just need to provide defense and rebounds.... Regardless, I very like Okafor's game.....
