and now that he isn't playing by himself on a bad team he is struggling to get 12 points a game.

He dont need to score if he is on the Kings....He just need to provide defense and rebounds.... Regardless, I very like Okafor's game.....

Also willing to toss in a 1st.

lol, comon thats not the best dallas would offer.

Dallas offers:
Devin Harris
DeSagana Diop
Brandon Bass
Jose Barea
1st pick

Bobcats send:
Emeka Okafor
Raymond Felton

Bobcats fans feel Felton cant handle pg-duties full time? Harris will be that player, Diop and Bass are young and have lots of potential plus they give CHA more height. The late first and a dark horse barea round that offer. Not sure if either team does it, depends on how you value Felton.

I like that Dallas offer, I am also warming to Tyrus/Noah/future 1st.

Note that Felton is available too if a starting-caliber PG is coming back the other way.

That Chicago offer is a Bulls fan's short sighted panic move. The Bulls would never do it. They are currently feeling the effects of overpaying Ben Wallace, and now you think they will trade for Okafor to overpay him. Can we say Ben Wallace 2.0? How do they expect to re-sign Gordon, Deng, and Okafor at years end?

You really like that Dallas deal?

Diop is pretty much awful. He looks SERVICEABLE b/c he's on a good team with an assload of offense. Really, he's awful.
1st pick- What are you going to do with a likely late 20's pick?
Brandon Bass- if you really like him, give him the full MLE. That'd get him.
Harris- really nice PG prospect. Tony Parker-like imo.
Barea- Meh, at best a good energy guy for 10 minutes a game.

Now for Felton, that'd be a good deal. For Okafor, a meh one. For BOTH? An awful one. At least imo.

I can see why you think this is a panic move. Maybe it is for some. Me, I used to be a UConn fan, because I love Ben Gordon and Emeka Okafor. I know what he's capable of, and I know what he's worth to me. I would painstakingly do this deal. I know its an overpayment. I know what established bigmen are worth on the trade market. Unlike a lot of these other offers, I'm not trying to scrimp and save my favorite prospect.

I really, really think a lineup of Hinrich, Gordon, Deng, Smith/Nocioni/TBD, Okafor will compete in the east. Maybe I'm just crazy?

Could Tyrus/Noah could really net a player like Okafor?

I think Tyrus is misused. And while I don't see much of Noah, he is something the Bobcats can use off the bench. Something this does is allow us to use our 1st rounder on either the best PG or big available, depending on where we draft, and clears the 12 or so million Okafor will command so the Bobcats can use it somewhere else AHEM Jamison

Just assuming that everything is available from the Kings, what do you think is a fair deal for the Bobcats?

Yep Toronto will offer a packae of either

Ford, and Bargnani

or

Calderon and Bargnani

Bobcats could probably use a PG since they have J Rich, and G Wall at the wings. They could probably use a big too. Bargnani still has quite a bit of potential imo. his #'s have been disapointing this year but I think that's mostly due to him playing a complete different game this year posting up instead of hanging around the 3 pt line all the time plus some injuries that through his game off.

Toronto needs a big that doesn't play at the same position as Bosh, and who's strengths are defense, and rebounding instead of scoring to complimet Bosh better. They have 2 starting PG's so if they could balance the roster out a bit I think they'd do it.,

Drugs are bad my friend. Please stop making Knick trades if you continue to think like such a homer.

Dude...you can keep posting this and it's still not going to get anyone else to do this but the Bulls. NY is not going to help the Bulls get Okafor AND likely top 5 lottery pick for that package.

I hope that the Jazz would be very interested. The Jazz need a real defensive presence in the middle. Someone like Okafor would be perfect. He could play along side either Booz or Memo, given their offensive abilities inside and out.

Quick points, which are not thought through really well yet:

I doubt the Jazz would be interested in a Boozer for Okafor swap, unless the Bobcats have some additional value that the Jazz could use. I don't see much on the Bobcats roster that the Jazz would want besides Wallace, and that would end up being too big a deal.

So, presumably, one of Okur and AK needs to be included. AK can play in the frontcourt, but the Bobcats obviously need a real frontcourt player back. I'm not sure of Charlotte's interest in Memo, and the Jazz would hate losing him, but it would certainly be worth it.

Other pieces that should have some real value in the right deal:

Millsap
Brewer
Miles

A couple proposals:

Memo and Miles
for
Okafor

If Memo/Miles is not enough, I would consider Millsap and Memo, but the Jazz have to get something back, probably next year's #1. That gives Charlotte a new starting frontcourt. I'm not sure of Charlotte's view of AK, but, particularly in the East, AK would likely be a very good PF.

I wonder if the Jazz would not consider a Boozer deal, though. Maybe Okafor and next year's Charlotee #1. The Jazz roster then:

Okafor/Collins
Memo/Millsap
AK/Harpring/Korver
Brewer/Korver/Miles
DWill

Salaries don't match in some of the above deals, so hopefully Charlotte has some fillers that are expiring.

I think the Sonics could offer:
Chris Wilcox
Johan Petro OR Saer Sene
and a PHO first?

or alternatively, is there any interest from the Bobcats in Delonte West? he seems to be exactly what your team needs right now (good combo guard behind Felton)

We want Felton to be our primary combo guard off the bench ideally. So far he hasn't shown much playmaking ability to be a starting PG, but he isn't that bad either.

I don't see Utah being good trade partners...

I think the Bobcats would ask for two bigs and one of your PG's from Seattle, but I'm not sure its in Seattle's or Charlotte's best interest, as Charlotte could use cap relief to go after Jamison in the summer.

I know it's been posted, but I'd try to sweeten the deal . . . in a perfect world I'd love to see Felton come back too . . . but we don't have the assets unless you guys evaluate Humphries or Delfino in an extremely positive light . . .

TJ Ford
Andrea Bargnani
Kris Humphries
09 Unprotected 1st

for

Okafor

and . . . .

You need to put cap filler in here b/c of TJ's deal. In a perfect world Felton would be included, but I doubt you do it. So fill in the blanks?

Rox would offer

Battier + Scola + Head + 08 1st

For

Okafor + Filler

Something like Garcia and Hawes makes sense, though I suspect sacto won't want to trade Hawes. I don't see these teams as very good trade partners as Charlotte will want a solid big man in return.
