Kevin Martin's back and dropped 37 in likw 29 minutes the other night. Salmons has been playing great this season, and Garcia has filled in well.

Bibby's going to be back for this one and Brad Miller's been on fire lately, the last few weeks he's averaging something like 22/10/5. That's sick.

But all in all, I think we get our revenge for earlier in the year.

Well, at least we aren't Cleveland... seriously... Indians, Cavs, Browns... ouch.

I've liked Salmons game for a while, but am surprised he's having as good a year as he is. The Kings have some good players; they just don't seem to fit together particularly well. They really need some toughness up front.

Bison Dele.

Seriously though, I believe that is his birthname.
Rip Hamilton is a stain on the Pistons franchise.

Tariq Abdul-Wahad changed his name during college or after college from Olivier Saint-Jean. He was at one time enrolled at the U of M - maybe he's who you are thinking of.

Should be an easy win for the Pistons. It's at home, we still need to run off a few wins to forget about the Knicks loss...

Why is Spencer Hawes not playing at all for Sacto? That team is not ready to compete at all, he should be seeing at least some time

Hopefully this is a good game.... I hope that the Kings are getting the feel of the game better...

One question: What are your guys thoughts on Kevin Martin? He plays a similar style as RIP and Reggie Miller type of game (plus attacking the rim) Is he better than RIP right now? Going to be better then him in the near future? etc?

He's probably a better pure scorer than Rip, but his game is no where near as complete.

Rips got a clear advantage when it comes both playmaking and defense, and while it may be true that Martin is clutch Rip has had a chance to display it on the biggest stage.

Yeah, I tend to agree.... But Martin showed promise on his playmaking...Dont let his assists for you guys, he has actually a great court vision for a SG.... Too bad his team need him in scoring mode all the time... His defense, honestly, is inconsistent. He varies to a an average defender to a good defender...His speed is a big part of that ], which is good IMO....

Even though the Pistons are largely a veteran team, and probably have gone through thousands of practices, going through one more Thursday certainly didn't hurt. Practice time is scant in January, a grueling month packed with trips and back-to-back games. So, coach Flip Saunders was eager to work on tightening things up and preparing for tonight's home game against the Kings. "I thought the guys had a little bit better legs after having a day off," Saunders said, referencing how the team looked after taking Monday and Wednesday off.

Saunders said teams start making mistakes without practice. "You don't have time to pound the things that are your basic fundamentals," Saunders said. "Sometimes, you have the tendency to let the little things slide, whether it's not holding a screen long enough or not rotating quick enough to let somebody out defensively. It's the little things that you always nit-pick on." Coaches weren't the only ones nitpicking Thursday.

Reserve Jarvis Hayes said the players made some mental to-do lists, hoping to refine their games. "It gets us back focused in a little bit," Hayes said. "When you're playing so much, we really don't practice as much as we did earlier.

The skinny: Sacramento fielded the team it expected for the first time all season in Toronto on Wednesday when Mike Bibby and Ron Artest joined the lineup

We're still trying to compete right now. It seems that perhaps Petrie doesn't believe in traditional rebuilding, so in a way, we're always trying to compete. Personally I didn't expect Spencer to get any time this year being only 19 and all. Also, because of a knee injury, he didn't get any kind of training camp. But he has shown flashes of what he may be able to do in the future, and that's all I'm expecting right now.

Anyway, good luck guys. I don't think it will be a blow out because we rarely get blown out (especially by teams that play at slower paces), but I'm definitely predicting that you guys win.

Oh, and watch out for that Hunter guy. I swear he must be a previously banned user. :uhoh:
