Lakers vs. Suns

Post#1 » by weeezy » Fri Jan 18, 2008 5:27 am

Anyone still up watching the game on Raps T.V? Laker fans are booing the heck out of Kwame after a missed dunk and a couple turnovers. Everytime he touches the ball It just gets even worse. I really feel sorry for the guy lol...

The Lakers are not a very good team without Andrew Bynum.

Well they traded a young, top 5 SF for him, so that's part of the backstory, I'd wager.

If you thought Bargs suffered from a lack of confidence in himself and by his teammates, look at Butterfingers Brown.... That is not how I want to see Bargs in 4 years...

Poor guy, its hard to root for him when he keeps missing easy layups and bobbling passes....

All I have to say is, that was the worst stretch of basketball I've seen... ever. All thanks to one man... Kwame Brown.

former number 1 pick...lets just hope this ain't Bargnani in a few more years. But he'd never get the rebound to throw it down to begin with. Wait..why am I bashing Bargs I'm not even a hater.

I found it funny that Barbosa was told by the hotel concierge to report to the lobby immediately for getting traded to the Knicks..

Prank calls ftl.

Woah I missed that... what was the full story, and Barbosa's reaction? Who put the guy up to it?

Apparently the hotel concierge staff found out that Barbosa was staying in their hotel, so they made the call to his hotel room informing him that he was traded to the Knicks and that he had 2 hours to pack his bags.. they told him to report to the lobby along with Steve Kerr, I don't know why Kerr was to be included but perhaps he was going to interview Barbosa on the trade and such for ESPN/TNT.

Barbosa was shocked with the call and confronted D'Antoni saying "I thought you guys liked me...". D'antoni then reassured him he didn't get traded. He then told Leandro to never put his real name down when checking in to any hotel..

That's pretty hilarious. Also, Kerr's their GM now so that's why they mentioned him.

i felt so bad for the guy...he was no.1 pick few years ago i believe. maybe he needed something like this to wake him up. still, i was in disbilief watching the game last night. it certainly didn't seem right for those fans to boo him like that, especially him coming back from the injury.

How long is Bynum out for?

I got tickets to the Pistons-Lakers game at the end of the month and if he is still out, i'll be dissapointed. Kobe better have a big game or it will be a blowout.
