We've now split the last 8 games against the spurs - we just won the wrong half of the split.
:o That's like, almost humor....

Look at you go, LJ4....

refreshing to see the teams not calling 40 timeouts during the last minute and just let the chips fall as they may

You gotta give it up to him there. That was funny stuff. Not sure I can recall ever reading a joke out of LJ before. So actually Im not sure if that was meant to be funny or not.

Pretty happy we beat the Spurs. We've taken out some of the top teams this year: the Spurs, Celtics, Lakers, Mavs, etc... At least our guys have proven they can win the big games. Parker may have been the Cav killer tonight, but he also blew the game with those two missed free throws. Good to see us win a game in which LeBron wasnt other-worldly. Quality W tonight.

Not to be snide, but I think it's awesome that he can go for 27, 9 and 7 and NOT be considered "other worldly."

Sorry to go back to this but is there anyone else that just can't stand watching the spurs? They whine after every call. On that last play when Parker got to the free throw line, he picked up his dribble in the paint and then stumbled back 5 steps and then gets the foul call. Sorry I'm done now. The Pistons are the only team that whines more. Now I'm done.

Yeah, it's rare to see him get that angry but he WAS getting hacked a lot without calls. Now he knows what it's like to be Shaq for a game, lol.

Everyone was getting hacked. The refs called that like an NFL game. If you were driving to the basket you had to lose a limb for the refs to call something.

Weird isn't it? But I agree this was clearly one of the worst games LeBron has had this season (at least shooting the ball). It's become rather ordinary for him to be remarkable in the 4th quarter.

I only caught the last 8 minutes of the game, but that looked like a college football game with all the pushing and holding. Impossible game for the refs. Nice gutsy win for the good guys

I was shocked Parker missed those FTs. Maybe now we can start 27 different "Parker is a choker" threads on the Gen Board...

Those threads only happen when it's LeBron that misses a free throw.

That was however the second game we've one when one of the other teams star players missed 2 free throws in the final minute.

Sure, but Duncan was getting worked over and very badly; he usually doesn't get all hissy like that, it's EXCEEDINGLY rare to get under Duncan's skin that way.

Yeah, he had a rough shooting night but he took 5 threes and 5 other jumpers from at least 20 feet. He also took 4 jumpers from 18 or 19 feet.

So figure that, of his 24 shots, 14 of them were from 18 feet or farther from the basket. He hit 4 of them, for 9 points (or a third of his total, just a little more than the 8 he scored on 12 shots from the line).

He was taking a lot of long jumpers, even before Parker twisted Lebron's ankle.

LeBron was shooting the ball funny.. Especially in the 2nd half on the left wing...

His legs went out on all of his jumpers... Even before the ankle injury..

Perhaps a little of that Bruce Bowen (the ankle assassin) was in his head... And then Tony got him.. :-?

Sure, I'll start giving him credit for missed calls on him when he starts getting fouls called on him. I think that Timmmay fouls alot without ever getting a significant number of foul call on him.
