this teams need a good quality banger, and an above average sf and they're a contender for the title.

problem is by the team we get these pieces parker will be too old to be a starting calibur player.

i think the raptors should look at kurt thomas, and sammy d...i don't what the raps could offer maybe 3 players and a 2nd. in sammy's case philly would probably take a rasho + 1st package

haslem will probably be available, i'd gladly give them hump, and graham for him, but he's probably worth more

the raps won't do anything until the summer, when they make there decisions on delfino and dixon...let them both go and you have like 5 million extra. Do you use you MLE than? I don't know, but the raps should think about it.

i'd be open to delfino, dixon and a first for duhon and him. this would allow us to trade tj/calderon and not be tempted to overpay for an overpriced star.

I humbly disagrees, Thabo is not worth Delfino 1 vs 1 anyway in my opinion. I would not throw a 1st and an expiring to get him, It's an awful lot to pay for a project like Thabo. I do like Duhon though so if we can get him for something like Dixon and Joey I would do it. The question would be: "Why should the Bulls do this"? Duhon expires this summer anyway and they could have a player for next year at a very low salary (Graham).

This might seem unlikely to occur, but wouldn't it be something to acquire Camby as our C, and get Damon Stoudamire back as our 2nd/3rd string PG.

Richard Jefferson would immensly bring up the talent at our wings. I doubt they'd trade to division rival, but I'm pretty sure they owe us one.

I wonder if Okafor has any chance at being traded. Nazr seems to be fitting in pretty well over there, which is hurting Okafor. Nazr's #'s are pretty close to Okafor, and I've seen some bobcat fans throwing out trades on the trade board. HE might not be a great fit next to Nazr but imo he'd be an amazing fit next to Bosh. Plus the contract issuses there. I'de give up something of pretty good value for him to play next to Bosh.

In all likely hood though nothing will be done except for maybe a small trade for a 3rd string pg.

Why would he be? He's one of the very few good young pieces that Miami has.

I would not like to see JO on this team. He has taken quite the beating over the years, and seems to have a similar amount as Shaq left in the tank.

There is no way Miami would give up Haslem for anything that we would be willing to offer. He is one of the few positives Miami has going for them. Furthermore, Haslem can only play power forward.

I believe the Raptors should be going for a team structured like the Spurs. There aren't very many good centres out there and to acquire one would most likely not be worth it. We should be looking for just a decent centre (somewhat like what Rasho was for the Spurs). While Bosh is nowhere near TD, i think it would be the best option to put a defensively competent player next to bosh (ie perhap someone like Nene, but obviously not him) and focus on upgrading our perimeter play.
