Good win for u guys. I wasn't surprise that we lost, we look like trash out there for the most part when Kwame was playing. I was just surprise how bad u guyz looked. If the suns play like that when Bynum gets back, u guys would be in serious trouble.

I wasn't...except for some odd games, we looked pretty average so far this season, to be honest.

Lakers were bad in this game, which had something to do with our defense though.

Amare gets antsy when he doesn't touch the ball on offense for long stretches, whichstill happens a lot. Sometimes, our guards don't pass him the ball after he was outplayed on the defensive end as if they wanted to punish him. This seems to make him even more forcing his way when the ball finally comes to him.

OTOH, whenever he touches the ball often, he most of the time makes right decisions and passes the ball out very well. This actually also makes me wonder why the coaching doesn't instruct LB and others to let Amare touch the ball on every half court possession whenever Nash sits!

This is just the pattern I observed.

When we beat a bad team, we suck. When we beat a good team, we suck. When we barely beat a depleted team, we suck. When we have the best record in the West, we still suck. Fans always find a way to b*tch on something, anything.

Team always make a run here and there at home, which the Lakers obviously did while the Suns relaxed with a big lead with Nash on the bench. And Kobe is always that one guy who can singlehandedly win you a close game, which he tried and almost did.

The one concern I have is our bench. Without Hill, we have to start Boris and that leaves us with Barbosa, Skinner, and Banks. Today, our bench points - 22, all by Barbosa. That's not going to get it done. That's why I think most Lakers fans really had underrated Hill's absence on this roster. The Lakers while have to start Kwame Brown (and I know he blows), they still have a deep bench capable of scoring alot of points for them. We just don't have enough fire power on our bench right now.

Trust me. You guys have more firepower than us.

We're the same team we were last yea without Bynum: a .500 team.

You guys are nearly the same team last year without Hill: a 60+ win team.

Gosh, got to show some respect due to me once again managing to make it into the top 10 for the most posts in a game thread despite the fact that I was already off to bed when the game started

Oh, and I really had a good laugh reading through this since you guys managed to have at least 8 posts in a row that only complained about Barbs sucking :D

In all honesty I'm kinda glad he didn't play in this one. D'Antoni took this game almost as if it was a play-off game (with the exception of Amare's mins - even if he was in foul trouble).

Banks should've played better in the last couple of games for a guy who is trying to show the coach he belongs in this rotation. While I thought he should've introduced Banks into the rotation earlier in the season I'm pretty happy with the way D'Antoni has handled this lately.

No big deal about the bus IMO, more about how he has been playing.

^ agreed

i want to see banks play more when possible tho, if only so that he can be showcased as a trade

i like the kid and want him to play for good, BUT, if dantoni doesnt intend to play him regularly and doesnt have a need for him (esp if we get cassell or stoudamire) then play him up to the trade deadline at least and show other teams what he has got
