No thanks!

Load of crap? Tyrus Thomas, Joakhim Noah, Ben Gordon, $14 mil in expirings and an unprotected 1st?

If that's crap, what comes out of your butt when you eat Mexican food? Lilacs?

I do not want Wallace starting after Bynum is healthy, and we already have SF depth, we need to get Joe Smith back if we are trading away Odom. Also I like getting Miller back because then we are giving Vujacic'c minutes to him at SG, instead of giving away even more of Ariza's time as Deng can't play SG. Of course I would still prefer Deng even taking into consideration that fact, but not at the cost of not getting Miller and Joe Smith and giving up a first on top of it. The value is similar, but it doesn't fit our team as well.

I would hope the Lakers still sign C-Webb for this year, so he could start at PF even when Bynum gets back.

P. Gasol/Cardinal
J. Smith/Noah/Gray/M. Gasol

Griz
Conley/Lowry/Vujacic
Gordon/Jacobson
Gay/Warrick/Jones
Odom/Thomas/Newble
Milicic/Kwame/A. Brown

Assuming they trade Stoudamire for Newble separately.
Also, they could draft B. Lopez/Hibbert/D. Jordan

Lakers
Fisher/Farmar/Crittenton
Kobe/Thabo/Karl
Deng/Ariza/Walton
Wallace/Turiaf/Swift
Bynum/Mihm

They might also sign C-Webb for more big man depth

How about this deal?

Holy crap that sucks. Bulls deal Wallace, but get back the bad contracts of Vlad and Cardinal, who almost make as much as him.

Bulls essentially deal their two best players (Deng and Gordon) and two recent lottery picks (Tyrus and Thabo) for Gasol

I am still not a big fan of the deal proposed above, but it is deceiving to say that the Bulls are trading Deng, Gordon, TT, and Thabo for just Pau Gasol. They are also getting Mike Miller, JCN, and Pau's younger brother. I would say value wise it is more than fair, but that doesn't mean that it is a good trade.

It is not terrible for Memphis, but if Deng is involved in the trade, Memphis would want him to come their way while sending Gordon to LA. The Grizz have been after Deng for Pau for a while...no way they do a trade where Deng is involved and he goes to another team.

P.S. that unprotected 1st would be a very late 1st round pick...pretty useless if you ask me. Just guaranteed money for 3 years for a borderline 1st round pick or a project.

Now I edited it again a little bit.

Just switch Cardinal and Swift
Cardinal will go to LA and Swift will go to CHI:

Bulls Get: P. Gasol/M. Miller/JCN/Swift/Radmanovic/Rights to M. Gasol
Bulls Give: Gordon/Deng/Thomas/Thabo/Wallace

Griz Get: Kwame/Odom/Thomas/Gordon/Vujacic/'08 First (Unprotected) from Lakers

Why don't we ask Scott Skiles if having Tyrus Thomas, J. Noah, and Ben Gordon is so great? He might agree with you if you like getting fired on Christmas Eve? If those three are everything that Bulls fan is making them out to be then why don't you just keep them and make that championship run you are suppose to be on? The deal no matter how many times you tweak it is crap on fire. It's garbage and it just doesn't cut it. The Grizz can do a lot better with other teams than accepting these sloppy seconds, in a trade for Gasol. Maybe you guys are on to something and you should continue to try and swing a trade for Marc Gasol, Pau little brother, perhaps you will have better luck.

^ All of those guys are still young and they haven't reached their potential uet, which is why they should be on a rebuilding team. This trade gives MEM a ton of cap felxibility, so they could try to sign Josh Smith, Okafor, etc. along with their high draft pick and the Lakers 1st rounder. Then add that to Conley, Gay, etc. The Griz could be a very fun team to watch next year, and who knows they could grow up fast and make some noise, because with the team they have now, that ain't gonna happen.

Also, if CHI wants to keep Thabo, then take him out, along with Vujacic and have Khryapa's expiring go to MEM.

Example of MEM '08 Roster:

Conley/Lowry
B. Gordon/Eric Gordon*
Gay/Warrick/Brandon Rush*
Odom/T. Thomas
Okafor/Milicic

Now I would pay a lot to watch that team play.
