What do you guys think?
Here is a trade to help us for at least this year and maybe next.
Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to L.A. Clippers and Boston being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. L.A. Clippers and Boston had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I know people are bored sometimes because theres not really much to talk about when you have a great team besides way of internally getting better. There is really no point in discussing the draft because we will have a bad pick and our team salary is structured that we can't really make a trade. But seriously you need to atleast think before you post a trade idea like that. I don't know about the rest of you but I wouldn't trade Tony Allen straight up if it worked for Cassell.
There really is no viable trade that works for BOTH team for Cassell. I mean the Clippers aren't going to want to touch Scalabrine's deal and he is the only player with a big enough salary to trade to L.A. for Cassell.

The only trade I would really be interested in is Scal, Powe & 2011 1st round pick for something that was useful and could help the Celtics the next three years. The 2011 1st round pick will probably be in the 20-30 range so no big deal.
The problem is who could the Celtics get with a package of Scal, Powe & 2011 1st rounder? The Celtics could take back about $4.6 million in salary.
If Ainge can get this done then he will be Executive of the Decade.
