Have you seen Vescey on NBA TV Daily, he's brutal. He's staring at the boxscores 90% of the time, cause he actually doesn't watch game.
Last time I watched him as a colour guy in the Pre Game, people asked him questions, and every response was "not totally sure, I don't see many 'INSERT TEAM NAME" games"

Vecsey used to write some nasty stuff about Barkley, and Barkley's issue was that most of it was true. Charles used to do some stupid stuff, to teammates and coaches and fans.
Vecsey turned up the fat jokes in his column (after ignoring Barkley for a few years, because Charles wasn't doing anything wrong) starting in 2000-01, when Barkley joined Turner, and made Pete a once-a-week guy on TBS. Then when the NBA's new TV contract came up, Pete was off the set entirely, and kept up with the gratuitous fat jokes. So Barkley then started gratuitous "he's an idiot" jokes on the air.
It's odd that people would post so much on here without actually knowing what happened.
