And said people need to start looking at the Vets they are the reason the Bulls stink. He also said he is tired for people jumping on Noah while the vets get a pass. Who agrees with Mr. Barkley?

100% agree with Barkley. If there was true veteran leadership on this team, it woulda been handled differently. Noah's action comes from being young, enthusiastic, hungry to win mindset. Wallace is sitting there laughing at Paxson why he gave him a multimillion dollar deal while on the bench and losing by 25.

I'm with Noah 100% on this one. However, his actions towards the coach was something different. I love Noah and I believe he's going to turn out to be a good player.. Remember now, he's just a rookie.

Barkley has hated 'the vets' on the Bulls for years now. If it was any other team (say the Suns) he would not have said that. He has never thought the core guys here that Pax brought in (Deng, Kirk, Gordon) were as good as their record or as portrayed by most public opinion.

Barkely is a national commentator not a local one. He's going to talk about the national perception on Noah. He may be a folk hero on this board for standing up to Wallace, but if you read some of the threads on other boards you'd have seen that the overwhelming majority of comments were thing like "Noah is so immature" and how a rookie shouldn't be saying stuff like that to a veteran and how Big Ben needs to smack him up. A lot of people were reffering to Noah as a cancer.

That's the perception Barkely was talking about.

When was that?I don't recall Barkley calling out the vets before. Only thing I hear from Barkley when the Bulls are mentioned is "They need a trade! They need a trade! They need a trade! ..................................."

I saw Chuck make the comments on Inside the NBA and wondered if it would get back to this board. I really enjoy watching Barkley, as he is certainly entertaining in his way, but he was definitely speaking about a situation where obviously he doesn't have all the facts, or hasn't really thought it through. His mistake was that he seemed to be combining to unrelated issues. As others have already recapped, he said that it isn't fair for the young guys, Noah in particular, to get blame for the way the season has progressed, that the responsibility falls squarely on the shoulders of the vets.

I don't really remember any Bulls fan blaming the youngsters for the Bulls lackluster play. I hear a lot of negativity directed at Ben Wallace, Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, and to lesser extents Andres Nocioni, and perhaps Tyrus Thomas' failure to develop as a player. So maybe Thomas would be the only "young" guy getting some of the blame. It is hard to hold the rookies accountable for the losses when they are barely seeing the court.

I think Charles just saw the media firestorm generated by the Noah suspension and decided to rip on the Bulls a little bit. He correctly identified that Noah wasn't really the Bulls problem, but in doing so I think he was answering a question that no one really asked. He did at least admit that whatever Noah did was wrong, and he deserved to be punished, but then followed it up by saying that nothing was his fault. Charles was just a little confused, as he usually is.

Hell, Noah's the teflon rookie for crying out loud. I've never seen anything like it. He gets to angrily call his coach a mother-**** and become a folk-hero for it while the fans and media lash out at the players, GM, and coach for punishing the conduct.

I've never seen a Bulls rookie get this type of entitlement, golden-boy treatment from the fans and media in my life.

That should speak volumes about how the fans view Ben Wallace and the Bulls organization that Noah is even being applauded by many.

The Bulls are a crummy organization. If it wasn't for Jordan, nobody would even have expectations of a championship. They would be known as an even worse version of the LA Clippers.

Is he? I've personally never had the urge to call assistant coach Ron Adams a mother-****. But thats just me.

I would. If I was coming off 2 National Championships and some dopey coach is telling me what it takes to win.

The Bulls (Rein$dorf and his cronies) are losers. Noah wants to win. At a certain point, things will boil over.

I do get a kick when Moronotti and others dump on the only owner to give the Bulls any championships.

Bears, two titles in 50 years.

Cubs, 0 titles last 100 years.

Blackhawks, what, 1 in the last 50 years?

Most franchises don't win every year. Spurs are the best team the last eight years and have no back to back titles in fact. It's...not that easy.

Championships = Jordan.

We're at the 10% mark of a similar Cubs-like Championship drought with the Bulls. They will never win again with the current culture. Just think, they messed up a PERFECT opportunity to dominate the East for the next decade. Even a crummy team like the Cavs could make the finals in the weak Eastern conference. The Bulls have one playoff series win. I just hope things can be salvaged.

And back to the thread, Noah is my new Bulls hero. He will obtain legendary status if he starts an on-court fight with Wallace...... maybe chuck a basketball in Wallace's direction as he was chuckling away during another blow-out.

I hope somebody with more time and technical capability than me can compile a youtube of when the Bulls play that bell toll sound affect for all of Wallace's uncontested rebounds. It will be the best thing EVER :)

Just like LA title = Magic/Jabar or Shaq/Kobe and SA titles = David/Tim.

Call Reinsdorf an ashhole, cheap, petty, whatever - because he is all of those things and more. But one thing he isn't is a loser. In business or sports.

Lol...what? Be right back, going to check on the Charlotte and Washington boards to see if this is indeed the case.

Reinsdorf's team have won seven championships - we aren't really arguing about this are we?

I have not seen Noah take any blame nationally or locally. Everything I saw was directed at the vets, the coach, and the GM.

This idiot thinks it was great the Bulls and Boylan did what they did.
