If we get Miller, the team won't take another 2 point FG for the rest of the season.

I can't imagine how we'd get Marion, but I absolutely love the idea. I think he'd jump start this team to the next level.

Miller's shooting would be a big help, and he's good enough I think it would be tough to justify not starting him. Not sure why Memphis would want to trade him, however.

Miller would be a great addition for the TPE.

It appears from what I have read, that the Grizz want to go in another direction. They are not competitive with the team they have now, but they have some nice young pieces they would like to build around. For the right price, they would like to get rid of Gasol and Bluntmire. I would assume that Miller probably doesn't fit into their long range plans either, but the rumor mill has not mentioned his name. They will want to reduce their cap and pick up draft picks, as well as young players they are high on.

starting Gasol next to Biedrins means no more small ball
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.
Big Smooth is focused and ready to handle the centers of the league.
Curry and Ellis will be a top 5 back court this season. 6/25/2010

If Gasol is Traded to GS Biedrens is gone traded there is no way Nelly uses 2 7 foot players.
Then Getting Miller for the TE and a First.

I wouldnt mind getting Gasol then trading Beans for Smoove.

Gasol
Smoove
Sjax
Miller
Baron
Ellis as a 6th man.

I really don't think the Warriors would let go of Beidrins outside of a (package) deal for a real superstar, like KG. Gasol doesn't do it.

However I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors and Grizz make a deal... there just seem to be a number of possible options there, and Warriors have the young guys and expirings to tempt Memphis.

Gasol has his strengths and weaknesses. He's got some of what the Warriors need (interior scoring), but not everything (interior defense, toughness).

Nellie doesn't WANT to play small, he wants to play fast... and he wants to play the best players, which tend to be the smaller guys. So I could see him putting Beidrins and Gasol out there together, and I also think they would provide a nice blend of skills in the frontcourt. In fact, IF the Warriors dealt for Gasol, it would remind me of dealing for Seikaly back during the Run TMC era. (Seikaly averaged 17/12 and 15/10 at center the two years before GS picked him up).
