Not only did that not happen, it doesn't even make sense. If we're playing 'small ball', why would Kleiza be our SG? Small ball would be something like Carter/AI/JR/Melo/Kleiza(with LK being the 'big man', not the guard).
We did play small ball most of the night, because we only had two true bigs suited up, and one of them was playing hurt. Which is why Kleiza started at power forward and played over 40 minutes. Last night I really don't think there was any stretch where LK played anything other than PF(I don't remember him, Eddie, and Camby being on the court at the same time.....if they were, it was only for a couple minutes).
Regardless, LK is not a two guard. Playing him there would create a horrible matchup in almost every game. Hes nowhere near quick enough to guard most shooting guards.....and he isn't big or strong enough to guard most PFs, especially in the west.
