Wow Kwame's bad, now-how about Big Ben?

Post#1 » by dflaschberger » Fri Jan 18, 2008 7:57 pm

That was an unbelievably bad performance last nite. The lakers cannot afford to have Brown F up their season for 2 months. Time for Pax to take advantage.

Kwame and Vlad for Wallace

Bulls dump ben, free up minutes. Vlad is tough to take on, but MAYBE we could move him elsewhere (we certainly don't need more shooters!)

Lakers get wallace (who is way overpaid but still ok) to hold down the fort until Bynum gets back, then he is their 3rd big for the playoffs.

At least wallace can catch a pass!

Ben Wallace is shooting 33%. I'd love to dump him for an expiring but it's not going to happen.

Sadly for Kwame, however, Ben is outshooting his free throw % of 44 with a blistering 47.

Ben is currently 'earning' his 60 million by having quantifiably the worst offensive season in the history of the NBA by any big man who's played significant minutes. And to top it all off his defense has been terrible too.

We're stuck with him.

Uh, yeah. The Lakers aren't going to turn around and trade for Wallace's huge contract (and terrible season) just because of last night.

Wishful thinking unfortunately. I'd say we could take on another bad contract of theirs, but it doesn't really look like they have any unfortunately.

As a Bulls fan who has to watch Wallace, I'd almost rather wish he didn't catch the pass and we could just admit defeat than take the 30% chance he makes it.

I'll be the first Laker fan to say hell to da naw. I rather take on Zack Randolph instead of Ben Wallace. I will not pay more for a Kwame Brown upgrade.

Ben's defense has been ok and he's a good passer. Kwame is worse than him and Vlad is a bad contract too (smaller/longer). Plus, Phil and Kobe might get more out of ben

No way

the only good thing we have let about kwame is that he is expiring and might have some value at the deadline

we're not going to pay wallace through the nose to do the same thing as kwame

wallace is much better than kwame. He plays good D and is a good passer.

Wallace WAS a good passer and defender, now its laziness on the defensive end.
