SAC/ORL Small deal

Post#1 » by DanTown8587 » Thu Jan 17, 2008 10:25 am

JJ Reddick, Pat Garrity

4

Miki Moore

Sacramento gets a young 2 guard and an expiring contract for a big who does not play significant minutes and will feel a squeeze now that Ron is back.

Kings get even thinner up front to add another guard and Pat Garrity. Kings say no

Change it to KT instead of Moore and Kings say yes!

Kings will add up to 2 2nd round picks to go to Orlando if Mikki Moore is switched to Kenny Thomas

Kenny Thomas cannot be traded for an expiring deal. Sacramento fans have some crazy idea of what the word VALUE means.

Hell even take JJ Redick out of the deal. Anything that expires for Kenny Thomas is welcomed and I'd add THREE 2nd round picks.

Same can be said of Garcia to Orlando proposals.

I have made one Garcia to Orlando trade. Meanwhile there are 30 KT to Orlando trades a month on here. Not quite the same thing. I like Garcia, but I'm not exactly losing sleep over not having him.

I only lose sleep over Pat Garrity seeing the court. That gives me night tremors.

What? Kings fans thinking KT and not needed 2nds is worth expirings? I laugh at their ignorance.

The only way they can get rid of KT is if they add in a prospect or young player, like Garcia or Douby, for example.

The reason for the deal was with Artest there he is taking minutes and Moore can be replaced, he isn't special. In fact, getting a rookie contract and expiring is about his value. And for the final time Kenny Thomas and anyone not named Artest is most likely unable to happen. EVER. Kings fans, not anyone's fault that you have Kenny Thomas on your team, but considering he DOESN'T play, its hard to convince any team to pay him so much money for the next few years.

If Nazr Mohammed can get moved for expirings, then so can Kenny Thomas.

1) The Bobcats have no problem taking on salary, in fact they are about the only team that is not in cap hell.
2) Mohammed is still a C who has shown ability in the recent future to play well, and was getting offers from other teams besides Detroit.
3) Kenny Thomas' best game this year was 8-5. Nazr has games of 20-14, 19-13 and 21-15 so there is no comparison.
4) If Kenny Thomas and Nazr Mohammed were FA at the end of the year, would Thomas get anything close to what his contract is now? No. Would Mohammed? Probably.

I'd be fully willing to move Douby if that was what it took to move Kenny for expirings.

Another Kings fan with unreal expectations of what value is. Douby and Thomas will not get expirings, in fact in might get you less talent than Douby. Do you realize how much money Thomas is still owed?

Yeah because I said "any team that wouldn't give expirings for Douby/Thomas is dumb lawlz".

Another fan brought up packaging one of our young guys with Kenny to move him, and I said that I would be willing to do that.
