Would playing Brandan more hurt our playoff drive?
Thought I'd take a poll. Note that this *isn't* about whether we *should* be making a playoff drive. That's a separate issue.

All he'd need to do is the exact same thing he did in UNC... get garbabe points, rebound, and disrupt on defense... he's a great fit for what we actually do. And he has experience at it. On a high-competition level... and he was successful!
The rest of his game can grow around the stuff he's already comfortable with...

No way will giving brandan heavy minutes (15+) help our team make the playoffs...sure he'll get some boards and disrupt, but offensively the defense wont pay attention to him and it will hurt our team on the floor.
However I do think we need to put him in more meaningless games. Games where were getting blown out or games where we're blowing out teams.I honestly believe getting in almost every game for a few minutes here and there is good. I'm not saying put him in with a minute left in the game...but maybe 5-10 minutes throughout the game depending on the situation. I really dont want him to go into next season feeling like a damn rookie.
I also feel putting him in the d-league for the first half of the season would have done him tons of good. Allow him to log big minutes in the d-league and develop his game. Then after the all-star break we would bring him up into the team and develop him from there. I'm sure he'd rather rot on the bench then play in the d-league...but logging 30+ minutes a game down under is experience you can't buy. It also allows him to get a work ethic and understand how hard it is to make it in the nba and how hard he needs to work.

He can catch and finish...
At no time should he be on the court while Biedrins is, but he's about as gifted offensively now as Andris, actually more so... we've yet to see him actually get the ball in the post (in case people forgot because of our offense, the post is where 95% of PF/Cs in the NBA play).
Whenever Al is at "C" is when we should give Wright some minutes.. he'll make up for Al's rebounding deficiencies and if we have Barnes, Pietrus or Jax at SF we could use them to D up the other team's PF if necessary...
But moreover - since when has our offense incorporated 5 people anyways? Its usually 2 or 3, w/good ball movement, maybe 4...
