With LA you factor in the Bynum injury and the fact they are not good enough to win the West. With Detroit he would have a great chance at going to the Finals, but do the Pistons want him back? I cant really get a read on that siuation. If he comes here he gets to play with Dwight. He would have a legit shot at earning a starters role. And if he played at a decent 10/5 or higher level he could really help us out.

lol... kind of seems kind of funny.

He comes back to win a championship. not just to play with Dwight Howard. It's like saying you just want to practice, and not play in the game. Lakers and Detroit just seem the 2 teams that can get to a championship now. Lakers look very good, and are turning into an elite team in the western conference. Detroit is always an elite team.

this is definitely a tease. with otis saying he is not interested in webber or pj brown, the chance of this happening seems very slim.

Whats even funnier is that you somehow think the Lakers are good enough to win a championship. They are a 1 and done like always. They have zero chance at gettin to the ECF. Like I said if he wants a ring detroit is where its at, but does Detroit want him? There have been conflicting reports on that all season. I know all you do is bitch and complain and nitpick, but to say the Lakers are closer to contending in the West then we are in the East is stupid.

He won't be back in Detroit. I'm leaning towards Lakers..but I wouldn't count us.

Why do you think this?? Just your opinion or you read something, just curious

well back before he went to Detroit he mentioned Orlando, and Dwight Howard, in Aug/Sep last year he mentioned Dwight and the Magic...just seems like he wants to play with him...and IF Detroit wont take him back, and it sounded like Dumars was done with Webber, and IF playing with a monster interests Dwight, LA might be out now and Orlando may be in...but L.A. probably has a better chance at winning more games (not winning a title) than we do, and they have some great talents, and of course Kobe...so, you never know...

I hate Webber personally...but...if he can provide help, and heart, and wins than I am for it...but he better not bring that "i wanna start" crap to the table...if he earns it, and it works, great, if not, be content...we dont need grumbling...

I don't know what you have been watching. But Bynum has improved, and the team has come together. They got a real point gaurd, and they got a good bench and roll players. This team is different.

yeah when we were talking about him b4 with the whole injury exception thing I wanted him bot on"our" terms, off the bench and if he earned his role as a starter, great! I'm just worried that he would ruin any team chemistry we have

I think he can definately help us however I think we are a last resort as no one thinks we have a shot this year and rightfully so

Webber's supposedly a good locker room guy, and it's not like anyone would be complaining. The only one who would stand to lose minutes because of this would be Foyle, and he's fine with his role.

I meant by him complaining that he didn't get enough minutes or felt he should be starter right away

My view exactly.
No way do I see him in Detroit and the Lakers would give him the starting spot which I'm pretty sure the Pistons wouldn't do.

I know Otis has said he's not interested in guys like PJ or C-Webb, but I wouldn't necessarily put it in stone that he's not looking.

i'd be very happy with the addition. especially if Webber only wants to sign for one season.

i don't see the problem as far as Otis is concerned. surely Webber will give better input than Cook, and he's got some great playoff experience that'll be a BIG need later on - especially for helping and guiding Dwight.

but.... i just don't see it happenin.

Darn, MC doesn't have anything on this, I just checked...
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

With Radmanovic, Bynum, and Mihm all nursing injuries, there is a clear fit for Webber in LA. Also, his passing complements the triangle, and Kobe.
