Sasha Vujacic Appreciation thread

Post#1 » by Gerald3Wallace » Sat Jan 19, 2008 4:06 am

yes..an appreciation thread for sasha, who woulda thought?

this guy plays soo hard...with the litttle time he gets..he comes in and gives full effort, something the other guy(brown) doesnt bring.

he works his a$$ off and he hits his jumpers..Also brings the energy night in night out.

and also..that nice little pumpfake that he uses and makes the defender jump around like a misquoito and they try to bite back..and he makes u look like a hero..

man

what a move.

He's better than Crit now and needs to be in the game over Crit unless its a blow-out. Thank you Sasha.

critt just isn't cut out for the sg position. he likes to hold the ball and create for others. sasha is in there to kill. bench has sorely missed him.

Sasha or Ariza needs to start over Luke. I can't stand Luke being passive and always pass up a good shot. And when he is aggressive he get stuff. We need a shake up with the starters if this continues.

Last night I thought Turioff, Lamar, Sasha, Kobe, and Farmar look real good playing together. I think this is a route we should go until Bynum gets healthy.

Let face it, putting the pressure on Luke and Kwame to step up is not going to happen because they don't have the skills neccessary and will onlyhurt the team more by forcing them. Let them remain the roles players that they should be.

Instead, we should focus more on our strengths, which is the back court: Kobe, Farmar, and Fisher. These guys are the guys we need to shoot more in order to stay afloat temporary.

I work 3 hrs in the gym everyday shooting jumpers, drinking gatorade hoping that one day I'd be as good as Sasha.

I love Sasha (no homo).

I have been known to hate the guy, but hell, even I can appreciate hustle and a 'give-it-all-I-got' (on both ends) court presence.

I just can't stand some of his bone-headed moves. Like his "new skill", driving to the lane... poor guy needs to really work on that.

Even how goofy he looks out there sometimes, I think he'd be a much much better role player if he had something close to Farmar's speed. Sasha never really got into a good rhythm in terms of the rotation. Maybe if he wasn't so feminine, he'd be 10x the player he is now. Still, he could possibly be the deadliest 3pt shooter in the NBA if he wasn't such a pansy.

I said the same thing in another thread.

And to this thread, I most definately appreciate Sasha.

I've been saying he needs more minutes all season.

Its taken a while, but people are starting to realize how much he improved his game this offseason.
