OT - Nocioni + Thabo

Post#1 » by ock » Sat Jan 19, 2008 3:47 am

Sorry, this is waaay off topic, but i'm watching the Bulls/Warriors, and my God, I'd give my left nut to get Nocioni and Thabo on the Lakers. Two underrated bench players that do everything right.

Deng and Gordon are good but overrated. Nocioni and Thabo would fit SO WELL on our team.

While downing a few, I like to imagine a Lakers team in the near future that has somehow managed to trade LO and Kwame and get Nocioni, Thabo, and a supplementary big body.

pardon the interruption.

We can have them if we get Ben Wallace as part of the deal. So the question is, do we want Ben Wallace here?

SURE! Questions about attitude, age, team chemistry.

But he's surrounded my really young immature guys in the Bulls. He doesn't belong there.

I'm not sure how the salaries match, but i'd give up LO, Kwame and picks for Nocioni, Thabo and Wallace.

We would gain a better big ball handler (thabo is light yrs better than odom), and just a lot of heart and hustle. these guys would complement the hearts of kobe, fisher, turiaf, bynum, farmar and sasha. i get shivers thinking about it.

Odom is better than both Thabo and Nocioni. Go to the Bull board and see what they think of Thabo, not just the one game you watched tonight. If we make this trade we have the worse Center/PF starters in the league. Nocioni would get owned by the PF in the west.

Thabo is the athletic and defensive SF we got in Ariza, but he has a shot.
