Warriors @ Bulls Postgame Thread: So whats new?

Post#1 » by kulaz3000 » Sat Jan 19, 2008 5:27 am

We played good offense, bad defense. Whats new under Boylan?

We took a lead, but didn't step on their throat to end the game in favour of letting GS back in the game. Whats new?

Our free throw shooting tonight was just HORRIBLE.

An entertaining game regardless.
Why so serious?

Why coaches can't do simple things? Why can't just think in the game instead of political line ups? Pathetic.

If only we could commit to this losing thing and be properly rewarded for it. Rewarded with a new coach and a top 5 pick.

What a load of crap. Refs screwed us. but then again the missed free throws screwed ourselfs

So close

Played better defense earlier in game. Collapsed on help too much led to some easy looks.

Baron Davis had 40 pt game. Hard to win when a guy has such a performance
Bring back Nocioni!!!

The refs would be insignificant if we hadn't given up that lead.

Zone defense against an all chucking lineup. So stupid the Warriors didn't know what to do til midway through the 3rd.

The good:

Nocioni - When he shoots well, he is an asset to the team. GS is an ideal matchup for him.
Gordon - Shot the ball well also
Deng - Very good rebounding game
Sefalosha - Continues his good game streak

The bad
Duhon - Still just doesn't cut it
The refs - Worst called game all year. This is probably the first game I have complained about. Bulls got shafted early and often as the Warriors talked the refs into calls.
Boylan - His use of Duhon over Sefolosha, particularly in the 3rd quarter as Davis was going off was just mind numbingly stupid. Him going back and forth between Sefolosha and Gordon late just iced the cake.

GS call outs
Nelson - What I wouldn't give for a coach who actually is coaching the game being played. Good game by him.
Davis - What a stud
Ellis - The kid is a player

Do you really think so?

Duhon and Ben Wallace, will play big minutes vs the Pistons, do you want to bet?

Choke. Boyland sucks at his rotations. Our guys are too stupid to realize they need to hit the boards. Missed FTs. Yeah, same ol' $#it, just another day. TANK, JUST TANK IT ALL. Sell Ben Wallace for whatever you can (tougher now with his 3pt attempt tonight).

I think Tyrus got even less minutes in this game.

Do you think maybe if we switch Duhon and Thabo's jerseys and Wallace's and Tyrus' Boylan would know?

1 win followed by 2 loses is the story of the season.
That won't cut it for making the playoffs. Unfortunately, that also won't cut to getting a high enough draft pick.

We've become the Clippers of the East. No new players, owner is cheap and no way out!!

This isn't news, we still don't have a closer. Gordon could be, but he can't dribble or finish at the rim. We lose close games for a reason, we don't have a killer instinct.

I also find it nice seeing Don Nelson giving Monte Ellis big minutes. Its amazing what playing time can do for the development of raw young players with potential. Paxson may overvalue his young players, but I think the real problem is how the entire Bulls organization overvalues veterans.
