For the chicken little crew, some context from Kawakami:

Here are the rundowns, year by year, at the half-way point:

We never had any real talent to develop during most of those seasons.

A veritable who's who of talentless failures during those seasons... now that we have talent, we should definitely surpress it... that's what all the good teams do. People come right up in year 2 or 3, without hardly any PT, and become role players..

Personally I prefer my basketball players to get better by playing basketball... but I guess the theory of sitting and watching basketball works too... hell by now a lot of us should be NBA ready

A relatively healthy team wins 50. Is that enough for the playoffs?

50 wins gets you in.

Some of these teams will have something come up that's not forseen.

Can you remember the last time 50 didn't get you in?

Tribute to former Indy mod, Pacerfan, who's no longer with us, but reading our posts from above. I believe all mods have this new icon.

Damn, I didn't even realize that we were at the half-way point. Checking the standings, it looks like Orlando and Utah are the only other teams with as many as 41 games under their belt. February's gonna be a restful month for this squad.
