I voted for Ray Allen.

For those who wonder why Ray, Paul or KG's scoring average have declined:

Compared to last year,

Ray Allen takes 6.6 fewer FGA, and 1.6 fewer FTA

Paul Pierce takes 3 fewer FGA, and 1.6 fewer FTA

Kevin Garnett takes 3.8 fewer FGA, and 1.2 fewer FTA

The Celts only take 75 shots per game.

PGA take 43.

The rest of the team needs 32 for the offense to flow.

They just need to have the hot hands taking the shots, and the cold ones passing.

I also voted for Leon...but Ray and PP also had excellent games. It is very good sign when it is had to choose a player of the game.

He brought energy, hustle, rebounding...

Hopefully he gets some more minutes when we need rebounding and energy off the bench.

after he came in, the whole complexion of the game changed under our rim. no more dunks off the baseline, no more offensive rebounds.

maybe next time we're getting killed on our own glass Doc will give Leon some more burn...

Leon. He had more energy and hops than I've seen out of him before. With all of those stories of what a great talent he was before his injuries, maybe this was a glimpse of what people were talking about.

One of our problems during the recent slump is our inability to grab a rebound. I attribute it to the fact that Rondo (a good rebounder for a PG) was hurt and that KG was settling for jumpers (keeping him away from the basket).

Thank goodness for Powe tonight. Let's see if Doc can find a away to get him and Davis more minutes.

The funny thing about Powe is, he was supposed to be a great prospect before his injuries - but I still see a guy who is pretty athletic, but who just lacks skill and finesse. Unless he was a really spectacular athlete before the injuries, it's hard to see how the injuries are really what have held him back.

I do think he fills a real need though, we don't have another energy guy up front

All season ive been waiting for Powe to show up. Tonight he did.

Powe is EXACTLY what the Celtics need. A Gritty force under the basket who will grab those boards finish those baskets and protect the paint.

I will be disappointed if he doesnt get atleast 10 min against the knicks when were blowing them out by 90.

He was a BEAST before injuries. My friend played against him back in HS, and his one and only time being on the top 10 for Cal HS highlights was when Powe, literally, dunked right over him. His parents still have the tape and it's pretty funny to watch Powe give him a facial over and over. Anyhow, he was amazing at Cal before and after the injuries. He was not nearly as explosive though, and it was more about wanting it and just heart, strength, and positioning on rebounds and such as opposed to him being able to explode up there.

Got to be Leon Powe, the Sixers were dominating the glass until Powe got into the game. He was a huge part of the Celtics run.
