I'm just wondering why else it would possibly matter if he's less famous. Maybe because he sells less jerseys? That's about it. No one said it, but it was kinda implied.

t-mac doesnt deserve to go, other players have earned my vote to go to the all-star game.

one darkhorse that should go as a reserve is al jefferson.

Yao/Duncan/Melo/Kobe/Paul
Amare/Boozer/Nowitzki/West/Roy/Nash/Iverson

East
Howard/Garnett/LeBron/Hamilton/Billups
Sheed/Bosh/Jamison/Butler/Jefferson/Allen/Kidd

i don't think Wade deserve it either
it's hard to leave off Pierce
but i think Butler and Jamison deserve it
since they carry the team without Arenas
Jefferson is having a career year
only reason Sheed and Allen are in because i can't think of any more center or guard (in reality it's going to be Wade)
maybe we can stick Bosh at center

the East is so bad i don't think i can put anyone on the losing team onto the team
