BIG change, esy turn around time...

Post#1 » by magicfanejc42 » Sat Jan 19, 2008 3:57 pm

Okay, with all of the trade talk, and with what this team needs to improve at I have come up with a few trades that would turn this team around instantly.

Trade #1

Adonal Foyle
Fran
09 second

For

Jarrett Jack

Why? Portland is looking towards the future, Jack is not their PG They have Rodriguez,Blake, Kaponen coming over next year and Green. They are looking to the future, and a player such as Fran would bolster their front line even more. the second could help them find that diamond in the rough and Foyle is just an expiring contract.

Trade #2

Hedo
Bogans
Cook
Garrity
08 first
future first

For

Redd
Charlie V.

Why- Milwaukee is hopping their players, they have alot of players under contract for the next 2 years. So, the Magic give them some extra cap relief with Bogans who can and most likely will opt out this year, Garrity who is gone this year, Cook who has 2 years left on an okay contract. As long as he can produce, he is an asset to any team. and two first rounders help them towards a new future.

Trade #3

Arroyo
Dooling
future second

For

Eddy Curry

Why for NYK- with all that is going on, and them chosing which big man to trade, they go on and trade Curry, due to the fact Randolph produces more and has a better future. Arroyo and Dooling bring them a little bit of cap relief, and this trade is not only accepted by Isaiah because he would love Dooling, but the owners as well, due to them playing all that luxary tax for no reason. Also, with Marbury going down, they really only have Robinson and now Low IQ crawford is about to take the reigns at PG. they need help in those places, and the Magic give it, while them being able to drop off extra weight on the way.(No pun intended)

Then Hope Webber wants to sign..

Nelson/Jack
Redd/Redick
Lewis/Evans
Webber/Charlie V/Auggie
Dwight/Curry/Gortat/Auggie

I know these are all unrealistic, and due to the fact I''m a homer, they are most likely outrageous as well. But I figured I'd give it a try.

I attempted to do a Bibby trade, and keep Hedo, but the only way to do it is bring on a bad contract with him( thomas ) and that would cost us I think it was 6 players and all of our expirings. So, nvm on that.

That milwaukee trade is horrible for the Bucks.

They'll laugh at that. Try posting that in the general forum.

The first deal is perhaps the only realistic one for both teams, and I'd do it easily. The others get laughed at.

:D at Jarret Jack coming over here.

Milwaukee trade seems possible, but there is no way.

Curry, fatboy curry. I wouldn'ttake him.

Webber simply isn't coming.

I don't see any of them happening especially #2 , if you replaced cook with another expiring plus send them cash to butout garrity they might do it
but are payroll for 3 players would start to resemble the knicks only with quality players
